Our group of four were celebrating the closing of selling my house. We started our dining experience with a great bottle of wine and four cups of their incredible she-crab soup...simply the best! The rest of our dinner did not disappoint. Two different veal dishes and two pasta/lobster specials were all great. We topped it all off splitting a large portion of a wonderful tiramisu. The service, atmosphere and company, combined with the fantastic food, resulted in a memorable evening at Mannino’s.

In town for a conference and looked for a place our group could enjoy an evening dinner, close to the hotel but with local flavor. Several local friends recommended Mannino's and they were able to seat our party of 8 with no issue.
The food was flat out delicious and it 1/2 price bottle of wine night!
Not one complaint, service was great. and while the portions were generous,no one walked away with a doggie bag.
If you find yourself in Portsmouth, you must try it.

Our four couple monthly dining group chose Mannino's for the first time, and we will certainly return. Our tastes vary, and we were all equally satisfied with the quality and taste of our selections. They have an ample selection of wine and beer. We began with Fresh Mozzarella Brochette, and the Mozzarella was simply great. I chose the Gnocchi Margherita, in part because it was served with additional mozzarella. It was a great choice. My wife selected Pollo Frances with the artichokes, and she was very impressed. The light breading was just right, and prepared with the artichokes it was an
excellent meal. Everyone raved about the food and the service. Portions were large, but we were glad we tried the Cannoli. It was an excellent evening.

First time at Mannino's in Downtown Portsmouth. Upon arriving we decided to sit at the bar. The staff was very accommodating to change our request there. David the Bartender was very busy but excellent service and very educated on the menu and recommended several things for us. We had an appetizer Roasted Garlic, the home-made cheese was incredible. My wife had the Vitello con Peperoni which I had a bite of that you could cut with a fork it was so tender with the fresh veggie (green beans). I had the Pollo Portofina you also could cut with a fork. My side was penne pasta pomodora sauce. Fresh grated cheese sprinkled over it. The food is very healthy portions and could be split if wanted. We are half to make room for the cannoli was incredible also. Everything we could catch coming out of the kitchen looked very good.
To ownership you have some great staff here and should be appreciative of them. We will definitely return and share our great experience with word a mouth to others.

Thank you,

My girlfriend and I decided to go here again for a date and everything exceeded our expectations yet again. We began our meal with the fried mozzarella and zucchini which was delicious. I had the ravioli while my girlfriend chose the chicken parmigiana, both were impeccable. We finished our meal with a very special dessert! I'm sure we'll be back again at some point. Thank you so much Aundria for your amazing and attentive service!
