I've just had a delicious meal here. Looking forward to working my way through the menu.
Polenta chips to start were a treat - a generous serve to share. Fish enchiladas were tasty and filling. Washed down with a cider. Happy and content. Thankyou very much.

Waitress had to return to our table to ask us again what we'd ordered. A small plate of chips was delivered to every table, we'd assumed they were complimentary as we hadn't ordered it, but they were charged for. Even with a shot-glass of "hot sauce" (they charge for this, too) the food wasn't very tasty. Disabled toilet is used as a store room, you won't get a chair in there. 2 out of 5 is generous.

The rating is based solely on our experience with the quality of the food. We ordered the mixed platter which was enough as a main for two people. Despite the platter's enticing appearance, we are disappointed with the flavour.

1. Chorizo quesadillas - made of only chorizo and cheese. Overall, it was oily from the chorizo and nothing special. Thought some salsa or something in it would have brought additional flavour that balances this overall very salty dish

2. Fried burrito (I think it's chimichanga?) - normal fried food, the flavour of the beef was alright

3. Polenta chips - dense and doughy, not much flavour on their own

4. Chicken/polenta fingers - the best component in this platter with good flavour and balance of texture between crunch from crust and softness of the meat

5. Fried chicken - 2 pieces of drumstick and wings. The chicken was deep fried and really really dry.

6. Salsa - too much corn!! I like my salsa packed with spicy punch and this is just too sweet! It seems to me that whoever prepares it doesn't really know how to balance tastes of food

7. Pieces of fried flour - salty salty salty

Overall, this platter is a diaster!! It has quantity but no quality at all. Feels more like a failed home cook experience than a restaurant food.

This was a first time visit for us, with friends who had been for lunch.

None of us were prepared for the size of our dinner servings!

Two of us decided to get the tasting platter to share as an entree. It was big enough for four of us to share, or for two as a main. And oooh, it was just delicious!

Our mains were delicious too. However, In all honesty, if we had known what was included on the tasting platter, we wouldn't have ordered the mains.

The drinks were awesome - recommend the margaritas!

We left with full bellies and a number of doggie bags (which are actually foil trays with lids, so great for transporting and reheating food).

Friendly and quick service, and cool decor to match the name and theme of the restaurant.
Will definitely return.
