Stopped by for dinner on a Wednesday night around 7pm. The waitress looked worried, then it turned out she had given us the last table in the house! The place rapidly filled up in the next few minutes.
The menu is numbered. And the shop/restaurant is far from polished.
But the food has great flavours.
We had the Squid Balls for entree, then shared a Musaman Curry and Pad Thai.
The Squid was over cooked to rubber balls. Un-battered naked squid dropped into the fryer doesn't make for an appetising taste or texture.
The Musaman Curry and Pad Thai were both excellent. Full of fresh flavour of spices and Lime juice and Curry leaf. My only complaint about either would be the slight stingyness of protein. Seven prawns in a Pad Thai, and a lot of vegetables in the Musaman (not the usual potatoes either).
