A perfect lunch with friends visiting from Melbourne. Friendly and super efficient, professional staff, in particular Meaghan.
We were seated by the fire which was a perfect bonus - a prime spot in winter only surpassed by their outdoor terrace tables in summer! The food was amazing. Cooked to perfection, amazing presentation and sensational tastes. Fabulous wine list…. we chose an Izway Mates Aglianico to enjoy with the food - a wine made only a couple of kilometres further along Seppeltsfield Road by one of many talented young Barossa winemakers, Craig Isbel. Fino at Seppeltsfield is a must if you wish to have a quintessential Barossa experience. All class.

The restaurant did not miss a beat either in terms of the food, the matching wine or the service provided by Mel. We opted for the FINO Signature Experience - six courses with matching wine - in reality there were seven courses as we started with a glass of Prosecco and home baked bread, butter (churned daily on site), and pickled vegetables with local olives.

We live interstate and it has been five years since our last visit to Fino. Both meals were truly memorable and the restaurant was at the top of our list of things to do in the Barossa.

Most of the dishes are shared plates but the amount of protein ensures there is a comfortable amount for two people. It was a busy service and Mel was like a human dynamo attending to food, water and the wine service. Every question asked of her was met with a detailed and knowledgeable reply and with warm good humour. She is an asset to the establishment.

Have attached some photos which speak for themselves. The food was not only delicious the presentation was quite beautiful.

Well done Fino, you did not disappoint.

We had the 6-course degustation lunch with matching wines and it was one of the best dining experiences I have had. The service was great, the wines were really interesting and the food was next-level good
