Had the degustation with matching wines a year ago which was excellent. This time degustation did not exist so had tasting menu which was a bit disappointing. Truffles were tasteless.

The food was utterly delicious, especially the eggplant dish with the miso sauce. Our waiter was delightful. Eating in such a historic building is a very special experience.

Lovely spot for a birthday lunch, great service and they have some private spaces for a group. Food was good but a bit variable- entee: Short rib reported as excellent, the ravioli was nice but texture very dense and color not appealing, special duck liver very good. Mains: duck was a bit too salty for my taste and overpowered the other more subtle flavors, not unusual but I don’t get why restaurants oversalt duck? Pork - crackling great, meat not. Dessert excellent!

This was a real treat- daughter booked for my husband’s birthday and was slightly anxious about taking 3 young children as we had read somewhere it wasn’t really child friendly. Well it was- very! A high chair was ready for us and some kiddy packs of stickers and colours etc came soon after arrival and the kids meals were tasty and appropriate. The chef even managed to whip up a tasty meal for one child with multiple severe allergies. Our meals were great- I can remember someone had rabbit terrine for an entree which was evidently magnificent and the duck and the pork belly mains were lovely too. Biggest hit for me was the yummy salted caramel ice cream with hazelnut and chocolate crumble- divine!!
The staff were entirely welcoming and friendly without hanging around too much - but seeing our every need met. I thought with such a late lunch they might rush us out a bit- but not so at all- our lunch was served at a lovely pace which enabled us to thoroughly enjoy the afternoon.
Thankyou “Grazing”- thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday afternoon and have already referred several friends- no wonder you have crowd come!
