Firstly I would like to say the communication when booking is excellent. I had to change the dates last minute because of a death in the family and Tracee did everything she could to accommodate our needs. The accommodation is really cosy, warm and well equipped. We had our dog with us and he loved the walks along the Marina. There is a Morrisons and Costa Coffee just over the lock and Lidl and Waitrose 5 mins away. It is a lovely quiet location even with people passing by. The only negative I have and its not really a big deal, but people had parked on two occassions in our alloted parking space and it took awhile to find them and ask them to move, we will definately be booking again
We spent 10 days in this cottage in Portishead. A great site right beside the water BUT big issues with the boiler. We either had temperatures under 14 or over 30 degrees. Heating went on and off at odd times with the boiler clicking alarmingly all night. Owners said they called someone in to fix the boiler but by the time we left this was still not working correctly. When we asked for a reduction in the cost as we had struggled through a very cold week in Feb. they became abusive and accused us of wanting a freebie. If this property is to be let out in winter the heating must be sorted out. Also issues with electricity and we were plunged into darkness one night as no money had been put in the outside locked meter!
We stayed in this lovely fishermans cottage while travelling from afar to view properties for sale and also to get to know the area better. We had our young son with us and the cottage was like a home away from home. It had all the kit so we could relax but also a great array of restaurants and supermarkets in walking distance and the indoor pool and leisure centre was fab. So glad we didn't book a hotel!

We booked this cottage to be close to Bristol to visit my daughter at university there. Ideally placed, a short journey away over the Clifton Bridge.
It was great because we could take our two small dogs, who thoroughly enjoyed the walks around the marina and nearby Clevedon. Excellent for joggers too!
We will certainly use again for visiting the area. Excellent communication and value.
The cottage is small, but attractive and well equipped. The location is of interest as you can see boats passing through Avonmouth. We enjoyed walking around the marina and Portbury Nature Reserve both nearby.
