“Convenient for train into London”
Reviewed 28 September 2013

Stopped here for 1 night after attending a concert in London.
The hotel is situated just 50 yards over the road from Kenton station and once on the Bakerloo line, it's just 40 minutes into the West End.
The hotel has free parking and is a bog standard Premier Inn, which in itself is a good thing as I consider them to be clean, adequate and with efficient staff - this one is no different.
The pub next door is large & the food was good.
Overall I would recommend this hotel & will use it again.

We visited the Premier Inn, Harrow; Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th August 2013 as we were visiting London for the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley. On arriving at the hotel, we parked in the barrier secured hotel car park; the code for which was changed daily for extra security. We saw no evidence of broken car glass anywhere in the car park, as mentioned on other reviews, which was very reassuring!

When we entered the reception area, we were greeted by a very cheerful receptionist who instantly made us feel very welcome. Although we were a little early, she still contacted housekeeping to see if our rooms were ready and we were able to check in an hour earlier than anticipated. There were 7 of us in our party (4 adults and 3 children) and we were pleased that they had put our rooms opposite one another despite booking the rooms separately nor making any requests.

The room was clean and tidy with a television and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and shampoo/body wash dispensers in the shower! The bed was firm but comfortable and a good standard of decor. Housekeeping attended the room each day to make the beds, provide towels and replenish the tea and coffee. Our room faced to side street/car park; the other room backed onto the railway lines but despite tube trains and high speed trains passing every 10 minutes there was little to no noise heard in the room (with the window closed), the room was well insulated and even the lightest sleepers in our group had a good nights sleep.

The hotel is in a great location for access to Kenton Station which in just over the bridge. You can actually see Wembley Stadium from the bridge. Wembley Stadium was just 2 stops away from Kenton which took 10 minutes if that. The ride into the centre of London took approx 30-40 minutes, although it definitely felt much quicker! There is also a Sainsbury's supermarket just across the road which is ideal for those essentials.

Breakfast was served in the restaurant area of the Beefeater pub which is joined on to the hotel. The breakfast staff were very accommodating and attentive. Breakfast was of a buffet style and you could have as much or as little as you wanted. There was a choice of tea, coffee and juices, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, full English breakfast (with a cook ready to cook whatever style of eggs you asked for), crumpets, croissants, toast with a selection of preserves. Our group certainly took advantage of the different breakfast options which set us up for a days sightseeing in London.

We ate at the Beefeater restaurant one of the nights and although the food was nice, the service wasn't so great. It was a particularly busy evening and there were only 3 staff serving both meals and behind the bar. Credit to the 3 lads, they never stopped, were apologetic and were doing the best they could under the circumstances.

On our last day we had to check out for 11am. The reception staff told us we could leave our cars securely in their car park until we were ready to set off home to Yorkshire which meant we could have another day exploring London.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and are currently planning a return visit!

This is a Premier Inn - that's the top and bottom of it - but comfortable, extremely friendly and pleasant staff. Right next to Kenton tube station - convenient if you can use the Tube.

Disabled room: comfortable, though bath had rather too many rails for comfort, right next to the car park disabled spaces so you could see your vehicle. Friendly pleasant staff.

A steak from the Beefeater on the evening we arrived was fine. There is lift access direct from Reception into the back of the Beefeater: Full Engish breakfast was good value at £8.25 each since that also included choice of all the cold breakfast items, fruit juice, coffee.

.Kenton is Metroland - there's not a huge amount to see there, but it's an ideal place to stop to explore London from by Tube. Road access from M40/A40/A312 Northolt / A404 Harrow / straightforwardly from Edgware Road.

Room Tip: Noise from trains not a particular problem in downstairs room next to car park. Noises from rooms ab...

The premier inn is on a pretty busy road and was a bit hectic when we arrived but it was rush hour. We stayed in the annex and our room was on the side of the railway line. Not too noisy but trains were frequently going past. Water pressure for the shower was really low and was difficult to wash my hair. Food was good and the service was quick when we had our evening meal. Staff friendly. Good tube service in to London took about 40 minutes on the Bakerloo line to Embankment. Sainsburys is a couple of minutes walk on the opposite side of the hotel. Car parking is free for guests. Overall not a bad stay.

This was the worse hotel we have ever stayed in and I would not recommend this to anyone. Even if I got this for FREE!

We were kept awake all night by a family in the room above us, you could hear the children running around, it was a nightmare.

I would not recommend this hotel
