Business preferred hotel for the Madrid office.
In a very exclusive area of Madrid (next to the gated communities where several of the Real players are reputed to live), and situated on a modern business park.
You can get great rates for this hotel, so shop around and go back to the marriott.com website for a final comparison.
Good rooms; the ac is switched off whilst you are out (good tick, environmental), so rooms are hot when you return. They soon cool down.
Downside: the restaurant closes in August (just this year - dunno?), so don't be hungry. Because why would anyone be silly enough to want to eat dinner in a hotel where they are staying?
Have never eaten in the hotel (Dominoe's delivers once again!), but there is a Starbucks which opens at 0730 in the business park behind, and there is a great restaurant, Urrecchu, only 10 minutes traffic-free walk away.

Room Tip: Ask for a double-bed; you seem to get a bigger room at the back - worked for me

AC Hotel La Finca is a great place to stay if you have business in and around La Finca!
The rooms are quite spacious, bit claustrophobic, but very stylish.

The Gym is quite small, and they could do with a swimming pool!

The lobbies are quite confusing ( they should put a sign for the directions to the elevator)

The breakfast is quite good but the dinner service isn't great! Limited dinner options around the hotel as well. ( Avoid the mall in La Finca ( across the road from La Finca)

Its better to take a Metro to Colonia Jardin which takes about 20 minutes and then to the city center which is again quite a short journey.

Nice modern hotel in the La Finca business enclave. Rooms are roomy and the common parts are pleasant. Staff deliver good service. If you know you are going book early as the hotel is often full. Food in the hotel is OK but if you want a special meal then probably not the place.

Stayed for business, really super hotel. As I wasn't travelling outside the Pozuelo area I can't comment on the convenience for Madrid but it is 40 minutes (and the same in euros) from the Barajas airport.

Cool bar and equally cool rooms. Love the space and real (full) size desk - very easy to work, as long as you font mind paying for wifi; but it is available free in the public areas. Great bathroom and fittings and the CD player (and CD!) is a nice touch. No noise, quiet room AC - but my bed was a bit of a creaker!

Common with so many hotels today, the only missing thing was an iron and board, otherwise I'll definitely be back. Only surprise? Its ranking in the Pozuelo hotels listed on here.

Location: 13km outside Madrid, ok if you have a car or if you are doing business in the neighbourhood (there is a business park right next to the hotel). Trip to downtown Madrid by walk (5 min) + light rail metro (ML2) + underground takes approx 45-50 min.

Taxi to airport is approx 35 min.

The good parts:
- big rooms, nicely arranged
- good quality breakfast
- staff
- shiny new bathroom
- CD player

The less good parts:
- weak, light, unstable beds that move when you move - some of the worst things I can imagine in a hotel
- no free wifi in the rooms. free wifi is becoming a standard these days, so the lack of it is definitely a minus

because of the above, it gets a 3,5 rating
