“Location,Location, Location”

Arrival was a little tricky, as although the staff in the office were really pleasant & helpful, the apartment number on the booking confirmation was wrong (it's flat 1 not 2),which caused some confusion as the key did not fit - fortunately no-one was home at No. 2 or they might have thought we were trying to break in! Once in however, lovely apartment, with views to die for from the balcony. Simply furnished, with plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. Would benefit from a small welcome pack with some store cupboard basics,(no toilet roll on arrival with 2 young children after a long journey was not ideal!). The appliances were good though and all worked well. Air conditioning or even a couple of fans in the bedrooms would have been very welcome as it was hot at night, but the apartment was light and airy and the blinds provided cool shade during the day.The apartment building & pool were all well maintained and cleaned regularly. The kids really loved the pool, which we often had to ourselves. L'Escala old town itself is absolutely beautiful and the apartment is perfectly positioned with, shops, cafes, beaches all just a few minutes walk away. Top tip - take the little tourist train along the walkway that runs beside all the gorgeous beaches towards Empuries. We can't wait to go back!

“Ideal location & good value in L'Escala”

Just returned from our third stay in this apartment. We love the dual aspect views at the front, and the spacious, airy interior. The new blinds were very stylish, and the apartment was clean and neat on our arrival. Having a washing machine and dishwasher is very handy too! This rental represents excellent value for money given its location and lovely views of the town from the terrace. The arrangements for collecting and returning the keys from a nearby local agency were very convenient Hopefully we will return again next year!

“Another successful L'Escala stay”

Very easy booking arrangements with Nuria, and the apartment was clean and tidy on our arrival. Like last year, the kitchen could do with a bit more everyday kit and basic supplies provided but that is only a minor criticism. The views are amazing and the dual-aspect windows in the living area allow a cool breeze on hot days. A lovely place to stay in L'Escala!

“Spacious, comfortable apartment with fabulous views”

This is the second time I've stayed in this apartment, which is simply and adequately furnished throughout. Towels and bed linen are not provided, but there is an option to hire. The kitchen is fairly well equipped for making the occasional meal with a good sized fridge/freezer, small dishwasher, microwave, full size cooker and washing machine. It has a spacious balcony with table and chairs for al fresco dining and beautiful views of the Bay of Roses. The complex has it's own swimming pool in a lovely garden setting which is clean and regularly maintained.
Centrally located it's within walking distance of shops, buses and beaches (which are to die for). The apartment isn't air conditioned, but is very light and airy with lots of windows providing a cool through breeze during the day but night time can be very hot with the windows closed to block out the noise from the chimes of the town clock and early morning traffic.
Highly recommended!

“Lovely apartment with a fantastic view!”
Reviewed 7 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

I rented this apartment to be near family who live nearby so location was important and this couldn't be beaten. The apartment is light and airy with a fantastic view of L'Escala and the Bay of Roses. It is simply furnished but ideal for a beach holiday. There is no air-con, so the bedrooms can be hot at night as it is noisy to have the windows open, even with the shutters down as it is close to the road. The kitchen was compact and the space could have been better utilised but it had a good sized fridge/freezer, washing machine and small dishwasher. You need to supply your own sheets & towels but the owner advised us of this in advance so not a problem. A lovely apartment and I would definitely stay here again!
