This hotel was brilliant.

It was all inclusive but we still had kitchen facilities and a lounge area.

Never a problem getting a sunbed around the pool.

Food and drink plentiful.

Would definitely return.

thankyou so much for our stay it was fabulous as always, staff work so hard and they are so pleasant, esteban the head waiter couldn't do enough for us , when we arrived the receptionist was very helpful and made sure we eat before we checked in , the cleaners were very pleasant, the rooms were spotless , even the pool checked everyday even the maintenance men always smiling , the chef even remembers us from previous stays at the hotel , the food was fab especially the kebab night there were plenty choice for everyone, entertainment could be better but it didn't spoil it the barman was brill at his work made sure everyone got drinks and was very fast , grande player beach was only 1euro 30 on local bus its the nicest beach I have been on by far , plenty shops and tapas bars. last but not least Pedro the manager was very helpful and very kind and couldn't enough . the hotel was good value for money and would go back again as we have for the past 3 yrs .susan & Patrick

Room Tip: at the back near the small pool, not at the large pool at the front

Just back home from a relaxing stay at Arena Beach, the Hotel itself is very clean, having breakfast and lunch outside was really nice. Really friendly staff work so hard making sure everywhere is tidy and clean. Apartment nice and clean, maybe needs a bit more space to put your clothes away. Only thing that lets this hotel down is the choice of food, not upto much, we ate out quite a few times in the town of Corralejo which is about 20-25 minute walk. The first little town (about10mins walk) before you get to the centre is really nice and has a market on Thursday and Sunday. There is also a supermarket there. The nearest beach isnt upto much but nice beach bars there for drinks and snacks. The main beach is either a taxi ride of 6 euros or a good 40min walk, this beach is a must beautiful and clean white sandy beach which stretches for miles. Entertainment is virtually nil which is why we went into town every night which is full of shops and plenty of places to eat. We struggled this year with our 13year old as there wheren't any children his age, but plenty of little children which has a separate pool. Overall a lovely relaxing time at Arena Beach, everyone at the hotel is happy to help, would return if it was just myself and my husband and maybe the food was a bit better.

Room Tip: We where in room 144 which is on the ground floor and straight facing the main pool

We are a family of five: Mum, Dad, 20yr old Son, 16yr old daughter and 9yr old Son. We arrived around 11pm for our 2 week stay. Check in was good and was offered food in the restaurant which was appreciated.
We paid 10 euros deposits for the tv remote, air con remote and safe key plus a non refundable charge extra for the safe key approx 15 euros. The deposits were refunded upon check out.
The reception area was nice and the staff were helpful.

We had ground floor one bedroom apts with an interconnecting door overlooking the main pool. Room nos 141 and 142
Twin bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette with microwave and fridge freezer, tv and leather pull out sofa bed which was brand new. Limited storage/hanging space.
Apartments were clean with maid service/towel change 5 times per week, linen changed twice a week. Comfy beds but pillows not so comfy.
Our apartments were roadside but there was minimal noise.
Air con worked well in both apts.

There is a main pool and a kids pool with mini splashzone.
Nice pools with new sunbeds and plenty to go around.
There was a BAN on inflatables in the main pool with a lifeguard on duty but allowed in the kids pool with no life guard on duty!!!
The ban was enforced until our 12th day when a different lifeguard was on duty and he allowed inflatables!!!.

The apartments are approx a 15 walk to the beach/main strip with a shopping centre and Flintstones bar showing british football live games 5 min walk away. 4 euros in a taxi to main strip/beach where there is a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

We went to the aqua park only 10 min walk away and had a great day. Its not a big park but lots of fun was had by all. Cost 25 euros per adult and 19 euros per child. Pay on arrival. No cheaper if you pre book.

We were all inclusive. Plenty of choice, well presented, nice dining area inside and a covered outside. Food was labelled and drinks self service. Food was very nice mostly. Breakfast: 8.30am - 10.30am oily bacon, freshly cooked eggs, lovely bread. Lunch: 1.00pm - 3.00pm meats, pasta, salads, chips, bread and lovely puddings. Dinner: 6.30pm - 9.30pm mexican night, barbecue, chinese night. Salads, veg, chips, bread and lovely puddings/fruit.
Hot dogs and burgers were served from the pool bar 12noon til 2.00pm. Self service for soft drinks, beer, wine and coffee machine at the pool bar or staff served alcoholic drinks and cocktails. Small selection of cake was available from the pool bar throughout the day.
Overall we enjoyed the food and suited all our tastes.

In the evening the pool bar closed and the bar upstairs opened with outdoor seating and indoor where the entertainment was shown. Bingo, quizzes, karaoke, magician, flameco dancer and singers made up the entertaiment programme.
Gi Gi was amazing!!! So funny and bubbly, she organized killer pool, killer darts, shooting, aqua areobics, beer pong, cocktail making, water polo and white night!!! A credit to the hotel and we made a friend for life!!! Martha looked after kids club and was very good and they loved her!!!

Room check out is mid-day, if you want late check out it costs 30 euros subject to availability. We asked but was told no so compromised for a 2pm check out. Shower room offered but only half hour time slots which for a family of five is not very long!!!!

We had a fab holiday and met lots of lovely people and would recommend to others but pre warn them of the inflatable ban as this could be a deal breaker.

Just arrived back from a weeks stay here at arena beach
Family of 4 2 adults our daughter of 12 and son of 7
Had the most fantastic time ,lovely clean apartments, cleaned every day except 1 ,regular new towels and bed linen.
Food was the best I've had at all inclusive, great variety ,great quality, regularly replacing dishes with hot fresh dish.
Breakfast good, lunch good, evening meal good.our son only likes boring chicken nuggets so mainly ate a Bread roll at every meal lol although one night there was a breaded chicken steak on offer which he ate a little of cut up.also had some grapes from the fruit section, would've had cereal but this was a little stale tasting, this could've been a one off as he was put off and didn't try it again (the Coco pops type cereal)
Chips on offer every day for those who have fussy kids like mine.
Favourite meal of mine was paella ,hubs was done kebab on last night ,was amazing tasted much nicer than back home ,served in a wrap that u put together yourself.
Pool was great kids always in the main pool, they we're unfortunate to come home with ear Infection each but I can't say this was due to poor hygiene ,3 other kids before us did go down with it as well. Before we left though ,maybe a coincidence, kids constantly in and out pool and wind blowing in ears,2 kids visited the local medical centre for advice and we're giving prescription and ear drops.smaller kids salt water pool and spalsh park also available, inflatables only allowed in kids pool not main pool during 10-6 but people played with inflatables after lifeguard clocked off at 6 (parents supervision)
After dinner we would spend an hour or so upstairs in the lobby bar/cocktail bar with our son playing uno and having a few drinks before bed ,our daughter made lots of friends and met them for dinner every night at 8 then played out til late whilst we watched from upstairs looking over the side, feeling relaxed on holiday letting her do this but in hindsight I am a in little worried about a side gate at the corner of the complex that we were told about that gets you to the town quicker than using the front entrance, this gate is a large sliding panel gate that seems to be unlocked always ,and anyone can exit or enter with no problem at all,bit concerning for kids escaping and strangers entering.
We had a problem with our air con ,never seemed to get cold enough, just blew room temp air(room 160) engineer came to "fix" but it was no different after he had been unfortunately,so we're offered a new room for the night then next day offered an air con unit which was fine but couldn't have on during the night as we were ground floor and needed to hang the tube out the door so had it on when we where nearby during the day and before we went to sleep.
Also our door didn't lock we found out when we first went to lock up,again an engineer came to fix ,he temporarily solved the problem so the door would lock for our stay.none of these issues would put us off returning to arena beach as we lived it a lot.
Most staff were friendly and helpful especially max I think his name was who worked in the lobby bar at night ,very friendly.
Gigi and Martha we're excellent as the animacion team (kids entertainers) water polo every day at 4pm for the kids with Martha ,Gigi was super hyper and fun for the kids ,playing games round the pool with them every afternoon,so full of energy the kids loved her.
Town was a 15min walk away
Got a cab to the beach grande playa cost 5 euro ,beach was beautiful sea was clear saw several fish with our snorkels
El Campaniria shopping centre just five mins down the road has everything you could need market stalls in the middle ,pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants, medical centre.
Recommend Waikiki beach restaurant in corralejo for dinner ,tables on the sand, paella and steak and Bolognese are lovely and my boy got his nuggets lovely view of the moon on the water
All in all lovely holiday at arena beach ,would highly recommend x
