4 mature adults shared for a weeks break. The villa itself is spacious , well laid out and has fabulous outside space. It is very well equipped with no shortage of crockery and utensils. A couple more tall glasses wouldn't go amiss but this is being picky !
Lounge and bedrooms very comfortable and homey. Two bathrooms with good showers very useful. TV pretty hit and miss as broadband not really up to it. Great for the ladies as no footie to endure , just good conversation .For those who can't do without , TV has a usb so you can watch your own mp3 content but not mp4 . Broadband connection good on phones and tablets especially in lounge. Netflix app streamed easily on both.
The patio area is equipped with table and chairs and comfortable loungers. It is the perfect spot to sunbathe sheltered from the Fuerteventura wind. The pool at the front is lovely for a cool down and for that 5 o clock G& T
The roof terrace gives a lovely view of the harbour and must be a great place to catch a breeze in the height of summer.
Location , 5 mins stroll to Campanario Shopping and a leisurely 15 mins to the strip. Take the beach walk and you are in the centre in no time.
Everything about this villa is easy. Friendly and helpful contact by the owner John throughout the booking process and pre arrival was reassuring. A quick tour of property by management team on arrival. A fridge stocked with milk , bread , butter , jam and wine. Tea , coffee , salt ,pepper. Cleaning products and cloths all available.
No immediate dash to the shops needed just relax straight into holiday.
No hesitation in recommending this family friendly villa .
Arrived on the 28th November 2014.Excellent communication before travel with owners. No problem with access and a lovely welcome pack was there on arrival with tea ,coffee ,milk and bread which was very much needed after an early start.
Problem with wifi which was resolved very quickly ,this was our last contact with the owner rest of holiday was excellent.
Pros for this Villa are the location which is near local shops and very close to the beach.
The sun terrace at the rear is fantastic and a real sun trap.
Would recommend eating at the Cherry Tree which is a 5 minute walk.Good honest English menu and value for money.
Only downside was the TV ,reception on the English channels is poor ,but didn't,t really affect our stay.
Highly recommend this villa and look forward to visiting again.
I stayed at Casa Loro at the beginning of June with husband and 2 children aged 2 1/2 and 5 months.
Large space outside and inside which was great with young children.
Pool/garden separate so didn't have to worry about little one falling in
Well equipped kitchen including washing machine and dishwasher
Short walk from beach & main town
Lovely welcome food/drink parcel on arrival
No information provided about the villa for example we were told by chance not to put rubbish in the communal bins until after 7 pm otherwise you could be fined. This didn't happen to us but useful local knowledge like this would have been helpful. We did email the owners a couple of questions the first day and they answered straight away.
The pool was supposed to be cleaned once a week but we saw no signs of this being done
The heater for the pool (we had wanted to heat the pool for the baby) did not work and short circuited the villa each time we tried to turn it on
The TV/sky did not work properly (not a huge problem as didn't watch it much)
Please note there is no cleaning service (again not a problem for us but if your expecting towels and bedding to be changed they won't be) we were happy to put the washing machine on and everything was dry quickly.
We had a lovely stay and would recommend this villa anyone
