this hotel is on the quiet side of the Island in a lovely area looking out over the Med. The staff are really very polite and helpful. There are free towels provided for the beach which is just across the quiet road. You can reserve a sun lounger for each day if you want to. The food is very good and the selection varied each day. You can have a bucks fizz of a morning with your breakfast if you want! It is an easy walk into Peguera if needed. We really enjoyed this lovely place and would stay again. the only down side was that the walls between the rooms are a little thin.

Room Tip: first floor has beautiful sea view and large balcony.

Just returned from Cala Fornells Hotel. A very nice hotel in a fabulous location, with very efficient and friendly bar and restaurant staff.
The hotel has a number of sunbeds in their own beach area which guests are supposed to be able to reserve on the previous day, but what they don't tell you is that before the reservation list is made available to hotel guests, reception staff reserve the best front row beds for their friends.... which is a pity as it would othwise be a fair scheme.
One of the 3 hotels at this location is currently being extended which when operating at it's increased capacity is likely to overwhelm the small beach area.

Room Tip: 3rd floor below the swimming pool are large rooms or 4th floor which have large balconies and fabulous views

Having enjoyed our previous stay we returned to find it just as it was before. The staff are very friendly and the rooms sufficiently large and with a balcony over-looking the bay. There is a roof top pool and a small indoor pool and the beach is a very short stroll across the road where sunbeds and towels are provided for hotel guests (make sure you book the day before at the reception). The hotel has local entertainment on during some evenings and can arrange for airport transfers at a reduced cost. The breakfast buffet is excellent in both range and quality, as is the evening buffet which is complemented with either a meat, fish or vegetarian main option. Will certainly consider another return visit and returners are rewarded with a 10% discount.

We have stayed at Hotel Cala Fornells many times in the past, and have had some lovely holidays. This is a small private hotel dating back to 1947. It has its own private beach, which is idyllic, and a rooftop pool. The staff are always super attentive.
This time we returned after a 4 year break due to family weddings, birth of grandchildren etc. The reception staff recognised us, and with a smile advised us that we'd been put in the bridal suite!!!
Access to all floors is either by stairs or one of the two lifts.
We can't speak highly enough of this hotel. It is set on a small peninsula with just three hotels, so the traffic level is light. The town of Peguera is a leisurely 30 minute stroll away, with a multitude of bars & restaurants, shops etc.
Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the beach is probably my favourite memory.

Room Tip: First floor rooms in the old part of the hotel all have very large balconies.

I had stayed previously in 1989,1990,2012 and then back for a short stay last year of 5 nights.
The hotel was excellent in every way eg accommodation, food, attentive staff and a fairy tale location !!
The hotel is suitable for in particular for couples, single persons rather than for children.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Cala Cornell's Hotel.
Best Regards
Simon Evans
