Nice hotel, food good, staff very hardworking and friendly. We were in room 523 which was facing the pool , nice and roomy, quiet on an evening, and spotlessly clean. Arrived late at night, good check in process and sandwiches provided which was a very nice touch.
Not a lot to do in resort, although there are a few bars close to hotel with entertainment most nights. The evening entertainment in the hotel was ok but not brilliant. Must say though that the entertainment team work very hard and are brilliant with the children. Pool decent and not too cold. Beach not far away but very small and it was also very crowded.
Bus stop straight outside the hotel and definitely worth a visit to Porto Colom.
There is a road train which stops outside the hotel too, but to be quite honest, unless you are staying in a different hotel and have been down to the shops/beach and can't be bothered to walk back, it is a waste of time. We caught it thinking we would see somewhere else to visit but nothing except wasteland and hotels.
Don't think I will be going again, but this is no reflection on the hotel as it was lovely, and if you are wanting a nice hotel and not bothered about going anywhere else then it would be a very relaxing holiday.More
