The hotel - was clean & room adequate. We were allocated a room at the back of the hotel which backed directly onto a residential area & minor road which was noisy. We wanted a double bed rather than two beds & immediately asked to move rooms but they were full & couldn't move us until the next day. On the second day we were moved to a room overlooking the pool which had a much better outlook & was much quieter but no double bed, none of their rooms have them. Beds were really uncomfortable. There was no hairdryer, this was an optional extra along with the safe. There was not even any soap in the bathroom.
Public areas were dull & had no atmosphere. There was a large party of Spanish holiday makers staying on our first night, they certainly cheered the place up with some of their own music & dancing otherwise it would of been a very dull evening. Entertainment advertised for the second night didn't turn up, no explanation.
The pool looked nice & clean but we didn't use it & didn't see anyone else use it for the duration of our stay.
The food - we were all inclusive & very disappointed with the standard of the food. All of the 'hot' dishes were literally lukewarm & the overall standard of the food was poor. Drinks were served in tiny plastic cups if you were by the pool & small glasses if you were inside. Impossible to get a pint, or even a half-pint, absolutely ridiculous. We tried to switch board basis but were told that we couldn't.
After three uncomfortable nights and dreadful food we moved hotels altogether & were very pleased to leave this hotel. When we checked out there was no apology, surprise or concern that we were leaving.
In summary this is a clean hotel, location not great, service was average, food dreadful.
