There are only two negative things i can say about this villa. 1. As previously said the beds are extremley hard. 2. There is only one parasol poolside, there should be 2 and of thicker material. That said, i loved this place. My wife and i was looking for a villa that was semi remote but walkable to a village. This was exactly that. 10 min walk to village maybe 15 tops coming back. The villa is spotless ( not one ant seen inside all week ). The views are amazing. The outside area layout is spot on. One thing though if you have kids, the pool does not have a shallow end, it starts at 5 ft 8 or so. I have never been impressed enough to rebook somewhere, i will re book this villa. Great value for money out of season. Really nice welcome pack also, bread, butter, cheese, ham, fruit, beer, wine, water, cake, even choc ice lollies. Very private villa. Yep i was very pleased

Thanks so much for your comments and we are delighted you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back at Villa Arabe.
We have mentioned the beds to the owners, and they are looking in to sourcing "toppers". Sadly they bought these beds specifically because they are orthopedic mattresses and thus should give a better night's sleep! We have also asked for another parasol by the pool and that should be there now.
We will of course pass all your comments on to the owners who will be delighted that you enjoyed your stay so much.
thank you

My cousin and I stayed at Villa Arabe for a girly break in the late Spanish sun. It was just perfect. The villa is spotlessly clean, very well equipped and the welcome pack gave us all the essentials we needed for our week's stay. I've stayed in plenty of villas in the region and was really pleasantly surprised at the standard of Villa Arabe - the pictures on the website don't really do it justice. Aspects of Spain were extremely easy to deal with and the arrangements for getting into the property were excellent. Perfect view of the old village of Frigliana, easy to find, easy walking distance of this historic and beautiful village. Frigliana itself is not a mecca of nightlife, which suited us, but is dotted with lovely restaurants with fantastic views down to Nerja and the coast. The people are so friendly and the atmosphere is very laid back. Lots of shops selling local pottery and nick nacks, jewellery and clothing. Cava and rioja was cheaper in the village shops than in Eroski. A really lovely break in the lovely hot sun!

“Perfect family holiday”
Reviewed 7 September 2011 for a stay in August 2011

We had the best holiday that we have had in years, this Villa is beautiful and very well maintained.
The location is perfect, it is a pleasant 10minute walk to the village, and a 15minute drive to Nerja Beaches. There is lots to do and see if you want to travel around the surrounding area, we spent very lovely days at the Caves of Nerja, Picasso Museum in Malaga and Alhambra which was a bit of a drive but well worth the effort, as well as some lovely days just chilling by the pool. The festival of the 3 Cultures was on when we were there which was an added bonus.
The welcome pack was amazing, thank you to Antonio for the fantastic fruit from the garden, my children (aged 7 & 12) could not have been happier. The pool is very private and the views are just breadth taking
