We stayed in a beautiful 2 storey town house for £100 which was excellent and contained a downstairs kitchen and living room with all mod cons. Beautiful bedrooms, bathroom and views with towels and a lovely big bed. However the complex is just not for us, we found it very English and that's not what we come to Spain for. Zachary's food was not great, very little taste and obviously all bought in. Some of the staff were lovely Eg. Waiters, reception, porters but the managers in Zachary's I assume..... Red tops were disinterested and off hand. English "cheesy" music constantly Eg UK butlins, benidorm esk. As I say this may suit some people but not us.
We attended the presentation with the sales staff and had the full breakfast which was delicious. You need to allow around 4-5hours in which time they will explain all the ins/outs of their points fraction scheme. To be honest at £145 per month and +700 for maintenance we found it was a little expensive for what you get and we would never spend that much. Plus you have to sign up for a minimum of 10 years then add on the 11.9%interest makes it an expensive amount for a holiday every year. As I said for the £100 for the week it is a cheap holiday and the sales guys were not pushy, once we said we were not interested we were not pushed and never bothered again so it was great for that.

Very nice self catering apartment, only downside was balcony got no sun even though weather was fab! Certainly catered for four, would have been hard pushed for six even though there was two double bedrooms & sofa bed! Good job there was only two of us!

Room Tip: Apartment with balcony facing south.

Stayed for a week with my family. Had a very good time. Our apartment was so much to our satisfaction. Everyone was very helpful and nice. The guys at Zachary's were nice but the food wasn't all that good. We will definitely be going back in the future. We need more of Club la Costas around the world.

As a family group of 8, we have been going to CLC Fuengirola for over 10 years. We have also booked it for the next 3 years. In addition we have been to CLC sites in Portugal, Italy, Teneriffe, UK, Turkey - all really good.
We absolutely love the site near Fuengirola. The on site accommodation and facilities are excellent. The two on site restaurants we use regularly are the Safari and El Tajos, which are very good, particularly the latter which is also very reasonably priced.
My wife and I regularly walk into Fuengirola, early morning'sh, which takes around 30/40 minutes and it's a lovely leisurely walk with plenty of nice stop off places for tea/coffee (or even beer!!). Fuengirola itself is large and busy and there ar some really nice bars, tea rooms, restaurants etc. We absolutely love it and every time we go, we feel as though we're "going home",
Evenings are really good, either on site where there is a variety of good entertainment or in Fuengirola/Los Beliches where there are some great spanish restaurants & bars plus live music (eg Shaggys}.
Also good on site shops and a lovely little bakery/cake shop/coffee shop - Sams Pantry
A really good holiday and one on which we have also taken many friends and familly as guests and they also love it and are still asking to be taken again.
By the way, yes I am a member of CLC and have never ever regretted joining.

Room Tip: Numerous complexes on site and would suggest you choose an elevated one for sea views eg Castillo de...
