We had a very nice 2-day stay in Hotel Curia!
As soon as you arrive you are asked if you had a good drive there and you the staff make you feel welcomed.
The first impression of the hotel gave me some mixed feelings. One the one hand there are parts of the hotel that really take you on a trip to the 1920s (the old elevator is the first thing you notice but there is also an old switchboard room for example). On the other hand you clearly feel that there should be a bit more investment in the hotel and some of the rooms could be reconstructed and made modern to accommodate the needs of the new guests. For example one of the big empty rooms could be transformed into a gym, which the hotel doesn't have.
The rooms are modern and excelent. However there is no WiFi in the rooms and you can ask the receptionist for an ethernet cable instead.
The Hotel offers a great breakfast with a wide variety of products, including some cheeses from the region.
The spa facilities are quite good, but the water of the indoor pool wasn't warm which makes the experience much less enjoyable.
Overall it was an very good stay, but there are a few things to change for it to become excelent.More
