Just got back from staying at the Domino in Jesolo. Must agree with all the comments here, very clean, very comfortable, maid service every day with clean towels, fully air conned in all rooms, couldn't fault it. Also, many of the hotels have the pools at the front, wheras the Domino pool is at the rear and very private.

  • Liked — Friendly Staff and cleanliness
  • Disliked — Nothing really, the pool could get crowded at peak times

We stayed at the Domino hotel for a week in July, with two adults and two children. Being used to stay in 4&5 * hotels, we were a bit worried that the the hotel (3* in the travel agent's brochure) would live up to our expectations. It certainly did!
The hotel is located close to the beach and only a few steps away from Jesolo's main street, although (lucky enough) not in the middle of the noise of the centre. As already mentioned by other reviewers, the building is very new and modern and it really looks stunning, compared to the other hotels in the Jesolo area.
When checking in, we were personally brought to our room by the friendly receptionist, who took the time to explain all features of the room to us. The room was very spacious (approx 42m²), with modern equipment such as airco, fully equipped kitchenette, electronic rolling-shutters, etc. Most importantly, the room was really soundproof! So no disturbing noise of people in the corridor, next-door neighbours, moving chairs, flushing toilets.... marvellous!
The swimming pool area was also great: very clean and very elegant with a large swimming pool, a kids pool and a jacuzzi, surrounded by wooden terraces. There were enough sunbeds and parasols to accommodate all guests, so indeed, no morning rush with towels to 'reserve' some space. Next to the swimming pool area, there was also a nice playground for smaller children. Those who prefer to go to the beach can do so too, as there are sunbeds and parasols reserved for you at the Domino's private beach space.
Breakfast was, to Italian standards, good with different types of bread, cheese, ham, pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and different types of coffee and drinks. Only the orange juice could be better, as it tasted like powder.... Tables were very clean and table linen was replaced immediately when you left, for the next persons to come. We stayed in halfboard, which included a 3 course meal in the evening. For each course, you could choose from 4 different types of dishes, so there was always something that you liked. Food was very good: light and typical Italian dishes.
If you want to go on an excursion, then you should take a trip to Venice. Another fun thing to do with kids is a boat trip along the coast with the Jolly Roger, a galleon where kids are transformed into little pirates.
Overall, we had a fantastic, relaxing holiday, which was well worth the money. If you are looking for a nice, modern hotel in Jesolo with spacious rooms, modern features, friendly staff and a great pool area, then you should consider the Domino Hotel!

We have just returned for a fortnights holiday in Lido de Jesolo staying at Domino Aparthotel. I am happy to report that the apartments are still as good as other reviewers have previously stated.
We were staying in a type c apartment which could actually sleep up to 7 people. The apartment had two bedrooms which were very clean spacious and comfortable. There was an additional couch in the living room area with a truckle bed underneath. As the apartments are reported to be only three years old they are all eco friendly with modcons such as air con, double glazing oven/mirowave etc etc.
The swimming pool area is clean and tidy with plenty of loungers and is excellent if you have small children.
Free unbrellas and loungers are available if you prefer the beach which was well organised with toilets, showers and beach bars.
We visited Venice which is a must if you go to Lido as is the Aqua Park which is a ten minute walk from the hotel. The Aqua Park cost my family of four 96 Euro which is not just nothing but we left when the park closed at 6pm so was a great day out.
The only disapointing part of the holiday was the standard of food in the restaurants which I expected to have had more variety, if you like pizza then your sorted but if your looking for a really good meal then take a tip from me and walk down the main street on Friday or Saturday night and check out the restaurants the Italians are waiting outside for a table and go there!

This hotel has only been built just over a year? The hotel looks and feels brand new. It stands out among the other hotels of the resort for it's contemporary architecture & looks simply stunning. the rooms themselves are basic, but again very nice and clean there is a cooking area to one side of the apartment and a separate. stunning pool area where the pool is surrounded by decking, where the sun loungers are and a separate kids pool. Plenty of sunbeds for everyone, so no need to get up at six in the morning with you towel to claim your sunbed. There is also a small poolside bar which will cater for most of your poolside snacks /drinks etc. there is also a very well equipped Gym/Health Centre for the more energetic amongst you.
This hotel is Smack dab in the middle of the resort, I mean right in the middle, which is ideal for a resort that is about 10 miles long!, although the hotel isn't placed exactly on the beach, it's only about 150 metres from the beach and as a guest of the hotel, you have your own private beach anyway.
The majority of the guests the week we stayed were northern European/Scandinavian, in fact we were the ONLY English people there, don't let that put you off, it can be a blessing sometimes, not a Chav in site!
All in all this was one of, if not the best holiday we have ever had. This was our first time in Italy and won't be our last. I'ml not the type of person who believes ing going back to the same place twice, simply because you migh spoil the magic, however, I would definitely consider going back to the Hotel Domino and Lido di Jesolo
