we have been here for four days last week and we really enjoyed the stay!
the hotel is really nice, the building itself is different from the others,
really particular, very nice!
we had BB, breakfast was great but maybe it should last longer, not only until 9:30am
the location was amazing, the beach was very close to the hotel and so were shops and restaurants!
out of all the members of the staff, only one person could speak English in a great way.. the blonde girl at the reception! actually we congratulated her on her speaking skills, her English was perfect and we were impressed because it was the first time we met an Italian who doesn't have the Italian accent when speaking in English aha she was also very friendly and professional at the same time.
the man who runs the bar made very good cocktails and his girlfriend was quite friendly!
we really enjoyed our stay, too bad we had to leave!
we will probably come the next year as well but only if there'll be that girl at the reception or if more people of the staff can speak English properly :P

The best things about this hotel are its friendly staff, cleanliness, excellent maid service, the beach/pool and its location. It is towards the quieter end of the resort but still surrounded with shops, restaurants and things to do. It is closer to Venice meaning that on our day trip there we were the last ones to be picked up and the first ones to be dropped off – less time spent sitting on the coach! It’s also within a 20 minute walk of Aqualandia (reviewed separately).
There are 64 rooms in the hotel arranged over 12 floors with one small lift which functioned perfectly all the time we were there. Our room was one of only four on our floor which although closer to the main road never felt noisy. The décor was basic, and the bathroom small but it was exceptionally clean with maid service including fresh towels every day. The beds were very hard though which I was told was because they were new. I think this is one of the areas where the hotel is catering more for the German and Italian guests which make up the majority of its clientele ….. and apparently prefer harder beds. The other area was the television where there was only one English speaking channel we could find – the news. Some of the staff speak limited English which is fair enough as we were in Italy but it did make communicating difficult at times. It took three attempts to explain (even with the help of Google Translator) that while the air conditioning was working, it was not blowing cold air. This was finally resolved for our last night with the help of Alessandro. The free internet was very welcome if slightly temperamental with a tendency to throw you out. There was a free safe in the wall which was big enough for phones and passports. We could have hired a fridge for 2 euros a day but there was a small shop opposite the hotel which sold water, cold drinks and beer at very reasonable prices so we didn’t need one.
One of my pet hates is having to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve a sun lounger. That was never necessary here – there may only be 23 around the pool but on one day we had it all to ourselves until nearly 11am. This may be because the lovely clean sandy beach with over 120 sun loungers reserved for hotel guests is only one building away. There was always lots of free space on this with an umbrella between each two loungers; showers and toilets; a small café; and pedallos with slides on them (great fun!) available for a reasonable cost. When the weather was good I felt the sea was actually safer than the pool as there are lifeguards at the beach and the sea was both warm and calm. However, the shallowest area of the pool at 1.35m is quite deep for little ones. There are lots of sellers wandering up and down the beach so you could buy towels, scarfs, massages, hair braiding, baskets, sunglasses, jewellery, kites and even belts! But equally they didn’t bother you if you just said no.
The hotel bar did a good range of drinks including cocktails, and desserts at reasonable prices. I loved the banana splits with hazelnut, lemon and banana ice cream. Antonello and Catiana are a really asset to the hotel and never seem to take a day off. Watch them dancing on the hotel’s Facebook page! The only thing I would improve about this area would be to make a part of the terrace area non-smoking, or to add air conditioning or a fan to the inside area where we ended up sitting to avoid the cigarette smoke and mosquitos on a couple of very hot evenings.
Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 9.30am with a range of bread, cakes and fruit as well as scrambled and boiled eggs, and a limited range of other hot options. Juice, water, tea and coffee was supplemented by cappuccino and espresso on request. There are plenty of good places to eat locally with mostly similar menus. See my separate reviews for the ones we visited. La Rustica opposite the hotel was very good – litre of house Prosecco for 10 euros!
As we had a late flight we were able to keep our room for the day at a reasonable cost of 40 euros or could have opted just to use the beach, pool and other facilities for only 15. A very enjoyable holiday with a good mix of pool, beach and sightseeing; and a good value hotel we could definitely recommend to others.

We've just got back from a weeks stay at this hotel and we were all so pleased with it. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they are all brilliant especially Antonello who runs the bar.
The location is excellent, close enough to all the shops and bars yet super peaceful at night after 12pm. The beach is fantastic with good sun loungers and the sea is so warm it's like bath water. The pool is also great, never too crowded and again nice and warm.
We stayed bed and breakfast so we were eating out the rest of the time. This was not a problem, there's pizza and pasta everywhere in Jesolo. The hotel breakfast was really good although I suspect it is catered mainly for the German pallet but I got to try something different most days (tiramisu for breakfast, what a result).
We stayed here as a family of 4 with our two sons sleeping in bunks in our room, the bunks were very comfortable and there was still plenty of enough space in the room.
Thank you for such a lovely stay.

We are the family of three spent 2 weeks in hotel Stockholm in July 2015
Our room was in good condition and clean. I found the staff efficient, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was tasty and right. Moreover, I found the hotel to have some charm and character. The beach is close to the hotel and we could always find sunbeds available for the hotel guests. The hotel is also close to shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bus stops, bars - the location is great. Alessandro runs the hotel and he gave us clear information how to get to Venice and the aqua park. He also provided us discount tickets for these attractions. Do not hesitate to get to the hotel from Venice Marco Polo airport by public transport- it is comfortable and inexpensive.
Hotel Stockholm is good value for money.
I recommend this hotel for families.
If I could choose to stay anywhere in Jesolo, I would choose hotel Stockholm!
