Shared a "Family Room" (3 of us - although there was a fourth bed). Thought it was a little compact at first, but soon got used to it - and ended up enjoying reconnecting as a family! Included a balcony for drying washing / sitting out.

Situated just off the "main drag", it was a little quieter (thank goodness) - as we had to leave the doors open at night, as cost of air conditioning was 5 Euros a day extra! (Small) safe available in all rooms at a refundable deposit of 10 Euros. Didn't use the pool, beach pass (provided) or bar, so can't comment on that. There were power points in the rooms for charging mobiles/travel kettle, etc.

However, this hotel's strong point is it's food! Both in quality and quantity (=just right). Breakfast form 07:30-09:00 - consisted of an all you can eat buffet (pretty good selection). From 19:30 onwards, dinner consists of a a small buffet followed by 3 courses (starter, main, dessert)! Always something different on the menu. Never got tired of it / cleared our plates every night!

Spent three days in Venice - one on the organised trip ("Venice Day & Night") when we just trekked around the city, one to visit the museums/Doges palace (20 Euros for 4 museums around Piazza San Marco) and another day to visit "La Biannale" (which takes place once every 3 years) - a feast of contemporary art.

If you go to Venice from Jesolo - get a combined bus/boat ticket for 20.5 Euros per day. There is also a 2/3/weekly ticket which would work out cheaper. Take the number 5 bus to Punta Sabbioni (about 25 mins) and get the "Actv" ferry from there to "San Marco". Same ticket covers you for Murano/Burano/Lido di Venezia/etc (we didn't go there)

Apart from that, you get purchase excursions to Verona (well worth visiting) and Lake Garda (pretty, but not much there beyond having a boat trip). One place we all enjoyed was the Dolomite Mountains: apart from a welcome relief form the heat, it;s stunning scenery.

We spent a week at this hotel in July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.the Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very clean and the rooms are small but very comfortable. Beach shops and bars are only a short stroll away and no need to get up early to get a subbed. The only negatives is they need a little bit more choice on the evening meal menu as the food was unusual, I feel an extra choice on the menu would enhance this hotel further. There are no tea-coffee making facilities in the room,However you use a travel kettle if desired.Overall this was lovely hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Enjoy

We were travelling as a couple with a 22 month old toddler and chose Hotel Frank based on the splash pool and garden and the great trip advisor reviews.

When we first arrived from the coach, we were a little confused about where the reception area was and within seconds were pointed in the right direction.

Worth noting is that reception is up one small flight of stairs. There was a lift available, but it only holds about 3 people, so with a buggy and lots of luggage it posed an early challenge, but one that we happily soon over came (the lift becoming one of the key things that my toddler loved about our stay). The other, as every other reviewer has said was Gianfranco and the team.

Every single one of them are amazing. This is so at odds to what we have experienced at other hotels in Europe and America. We felt as if we were part of the family. Giovanna is welcoming, happy and bright. Jo, as others have said, is simply incredible, speaks five languages and could not be more helpful and friendly if she tried. Our young toddler fell in love with Gianfranco and was talking about him on our journey home. This made us realise that the Hotel Frank has helped her to establish wonderful childhood memories forever. She would not have got this at any other hotel. When I heard other passengers on our flight home complain about the rudeness of their hotel staff I felt even surer of this.

On Wednesday night there is a kareoke/disco which I would wholeheartedly recommend.

It took us a day or two to figure out the set menu. Advice, the first course is on the left hand side of the menu and the main course and desserts are on the right. I was happy with the menu, although sometimes what you thought was going to turn up, was lost in translation, examples being "nuggets of chicken in yoghurt" turned out to be chicken nuggets and chips and "salad of turnips and cheese" was a goats cheese and beetroot salad. Even if you are a fussy eater, there is pizza and pasta in tomato sauce available every day. I preferred this as it felt as if you were dining in a restaurant every night, rather than entering the scrum to get to surprise dishes that may have been sitting on a hot plate for hours.

There were one or two minor things that might have made this trip even better (aside from us staying for longer). Better hand soap in the rooms, we only got this for our first few days and with a grimy toddler, it would have been really useful. On our first day or two, the waiters did not cater for our toddler, but that was probably our fault and we ended up rectifying it easily with no problem.

The double bed was more of a queen size, the shower was small, but amazing and the towels were large and high quality.

I have never been bitten by a mosquito before, but the Jesolo ones sure were hungry for my legs, it would have been great if the hotel had some bands available to buy on reception.

I think it would be fantastic if the team used social media, such as instagram more, as I feel certain that guests would be keen to share their experiences (I know that I already have and would have liked to have seen more).

We left a little bit of our heart at hotel Frank. I feel certain that we will return.

Ciao, ciao, ciao (for now).

The hotel Frank is a lovely place to base yourself for a Venice trip. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are all lovely. The food was very nice, we did find some weird combinations some nights. The house wine was only 7.5 euros a bottle. You were allocated a table for the week which was good. The food was normally a salad bar buffet to start, followed by a pasta course (my favourite). Then the main course (choice of 3/4 & the final course which was normally a choice either ice cream/fruit/or a local cake or tart. There are bicycles to ride free for an hour then a few euros per hour this was a good way to see Lido Di Jesolo. The swimming pool is great. We really enjoyed our stay at The Hotel Frank with a mix of English, Italians & Germans. All in all a very nice hotel, well done Gianfranco & team. Almost forgot loved the terrace too.

From the start of finding this amazing hotel to the very end of our stay everything was just perfect! Whenever I emailed or messaged I got a very quick response, we even got picked up from the station when I asked which bus to get on! The food was excellent, service exceptional by all staff, the hotel was immaculately clean, the pool area too. The location was great with a short amble to the fabulous beach where sun beds are allocated to individual hotels. The area is lovely for a stroll in the evening for a late night espresso & ice cream. For us we cannot fault this very welcoming & friendly family run hotel. Just a note to say that the rooms are small, but well equipped, you have to pay for a/c, it's not a 5* so if that's what you want don't go! But if you want great friendly service where you feel quite special everyday, lots of laughs & fun from the staff then this is your hotel! We loved it!!! Highly recommend. It's also a great base for spending a day or 2 in Venice which is very easy to get too. Well done to Frank and his team. X
