We visited Ischia in August quick transfer from airport to ferry and ischia port to hotel. Hotel is in a lovely elevated position with perfect views, a steep climb up the hill or up the steps to the town but courtesy bus available.
Family are lovely very helpful and accommodating. Rooms a little dated but beds comfortable enough.
Meals nothing special you have to decide at breakfast what you want of 2 choices and options can be a little hit and miss and portions small but family will always accommodate if nothing suitable. Dining room in basement dark and dreary but at least at breakfast you can go outside.
Breakfast would be improved if you were served tea and coffee instead of it all being self service.
The pool and sunbed area fantastic and quiet you can always get beds therefore also showers a sauna and toilets with the water being a very pleasant temperature. The only comment is you are supposed to wear bathing caps which serve absolutely no purpose at all. Most people got them wet they could be permeated by the water and the only outcome was making people look ridiculous. This is one practise that we did not follow at all.
Otherwise a great stay but need to pull a little bit out of the 1950s More
