Lovely terme set in amazing grounds and a wide range of pools. Value for money is very good and you can get right down to the see or set up your sun lounger to overlook the bay of Naples - gorgeous :)

We went on 14th September 2017. There are at least two other thermal parks on the island. This was the cheapest at the time. Some reviews said that it wasn't very good, however, I think it is as described and very pleasant.

We paid €30 each to an excursion company which included a private transfer from our hotel. The gate price was €28 so we feel we had a bargain.

There is a funicular railway which descends 80 or so metres. It is old and carries about 14 people at a time, but it does its job. You can walk down to the complex, but it is a little steep. At the end of the railway, turn left into the building and you can leave you clothes and valuables in lockers. We also rented 2 towels and had to buy 2 swimming caps. This came to €11 euros. You can of course take your only towel; ours were still wet from the previous day. With regard to the swimming caps; you do need to wear one. However, it does not seem to matter what is on your head as long as something is there. We saw people with baseballs caps, summer hats, bandannas and even shower caps! Obviously, if you plan on dunking your head underwater, you may want a proper swimming cap, but if not, just grab your shower cap from the hotel room.

We went in every pool, even the indoor ones. We were given a map of the site and there are plenty of signposts that were easy enough to follow. By each pool there is a sign telling you the temperature. The hottest- the Lotus pool was 40C. Right next to it was a cold water pool- in previous reviews it was noted that there were no cold water pools, my blue legs can testify to the contrary!

I probably wouldn’t recommend the park for children as there are only two pools they are allowed into; the 30 degree one that was probably the busiest and the Olympic swimming pool (which is 25m long). This pool is a salt water pool. There were children at the park but it probably wasn’t worth them going.

We ate at the snack bar. We had two Panini’s and two drinks with a packet of crisps which came to €20. There were two restaurants but we did not go in. One was right on the sea shore, the food looked nice but I didn’t see any prices.

It was a nice warm sunny day. If it is the same when you go, make sure you are frequent with the sun lotion as it was quite the sun trap.

We would go again as it was a nice relaxing day. It was not too busy and the pools were great.

We went to this Termale because it was closer to our hotel by taxi and it was a rainy day. From the parking lot you pay at the small building and take a funicolare down to the indoor pool building. It is out of date and worn looking, however, the thermal pools are ok. They had 2 indoor pools and at least 4 outdoor pools with a sauna indoors and one outdoors. The pools vary by degrees of heat. If you can't walk easily don't go - the outdoor pools are all up and down lots of stairs. We also did the mud bath, which was good but very basic. The staff are helpful and assisted us in calling for a cab. It was crowded but what do you expect on a rainy day at a resort island? Bring a shower cap from your hotel room or bathing cap (Hair must be covered in all the pools) and pool shoes or flip-flops. There are changing areas, and lockers
