We stayed in this villa with friends. It is very spacious and well-equipped - there are 4 double bedrooms, 3 of which have bunk rooms attached so perfect for occupation by more than one family. Even in August the villa was cool inside. Beds very comfortable and plenty of different places to hang out. The pool is excellent - 12 metres long. We found that closing the pool cover at night really helped to retain the heat. And there is a substantial pool house with fully equipped second kitchen with a nice gym/Jacuzzi/sauna and steam room.
The villa itself is in a quiet and rural location, perfect for getting away from it all. There is a lovely terrace in the garden with fantastic views over the hillsides. This is not a tourist location, so be prepared to try your Italian! We managed just fine. We visited a few local restaurants - some great food and lovely locations. Our favourite was La Pergola in Gesualdo.
There are some steep gradients with sharp bends - a good map is a really worthwhile investment.
We visited Pompeii and Herculaneum from here - about 90 minutes by car.
A lovely peaceful retreat, we had a great time
