“Beautiful Small Hotel in the Center of Naxos Town”

My wife and I visited Naxos in June of 2016. In some locations we prefer to rent something on the outskirts of town. However, for Naxos we choose to rent at Anassa Naxo, and are very happy with the choice. Anissa is a newer property, about two years old located in the center of Naxos Town, near the waterfront and with views of the water.. The room, while small, was beautiful. Floors are a beautiful wood appearing ceramic tile. There is ample storage in the room. The beds were very comfortable. And there was a small kitchen area with a small refrigerator which met our needs nicely for the morning and latter evening for snacks and drinks. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, glasses and silverware. Other than a panini press and a coffee maker, there was not equipment for food preparation, but this worked fine for us.

The bathroom is beautifully tiled with a large shower containing both an overhead shower head, and a handheld shower.

While the unit is air conditioned, we found that it was only needed if we were in the room during the later afternoon. At night there was always a nice breeze and comfortable temperatures. Our room had very nice windows that took advantage of these breezes.

One set of these windows lead out to a beautiful balcony. This proved to be one of the highlights of the trip. The balcony had a nice view of the water and the sunset. Additionally, it over looked the courtyard of a beautiful church. Next to the church was the terrace of a restaurant where Greek music was featured every evening. We loved sitting out on the balcony in the evenings with wine, fruit, olives and nuts and listen to the music. The music went on late into the evening, past midnight each night. Even if we were going to bed earlier, it was nice background music with the windows open.

One note on the church next to the property: on Sunday mornings there are church bells that ring loudly starting at about 7:30, followed by services and then more bells of a second service. The services have music/chanting that can be heard from the room. For us, this was a nice cultural aspect to our stay.

The property owner, Stelios, was very accommodating and always wanting to make sure we had what we needed. He picked us up at the dock of the ferry and quickly brought us to the property upon arrival. He provided nice recommendations on places to eat.

It is easy to walk from the property to everything in Naxos Town, so perfectly position. At the same time, unlike an island such as Mykonos, where I would find being in town obtrusive, here I found the town to be a wonderful part of our stay, and not noisy or overbearing at night.

While Naxos Town is great, use this property as an outpost and spend a couple of extra days on the island to explore the wonderful villages in both the mountains and on the coasts. A car can easily be rented in town, and while there is not parking on the property site there is ample parking a couple of blocks away.

This was the perfect spot for our four day visit to Naxos, and we highly recommend it to others.

“Wonderfully appointed rooms in great location”

We stayed for six days last week. Stelios met us at the port and transferred us to our room. The rooms were only built a year ago and are very well finished. We stayed in a standard room (not a suite) upstairs. The room was a good size and well equipped. A spacious showerroom was a treat. Plenty storage space in the bedroom. Two windows in addition to the french doors made it very airy, and mosquito netting ensures no problems with insects. The location of the rooms is fantastic as they are only a 50 metre walk to the main front, but are situated beside some very quiet lanes. It is immediately behind the church of Panayia Pantanassa so you can occasionally get bells at 7am but they play a great little tune! Can't recommend them highly enough.

“Perfect relaxation in a brand new place”

I happened to stay in Anassa Suites only by coincidence, having to change location for the last three nights of my August vacation, and this was a happy surprise!
Modern and functional decoration, extra comfortable beds, relaxing veranda with nice view to the city and the sea, strong WiFi, effective cleanliness and most of all a huge and super modern shower! All the above in the best location of the centre of the town.
I highly recommend the accommodation in Anassa Suites for any kind of holiday or stay in Naxos Town!

We were lucky to find the place through our travel agent. it came highly recomended.
As soon as we arrived at the property, we were thrilled to realize that we will be staying in one of the nicest hotels, at the best possible location.Located in the centre of Naxos town right at he entry of the Venetian Castle ,but also at a quiet intersection.
The rooms are very spacious with top of the line fixtures and furnishings. The neo cycladic arcitecture the amazing view, the very helpful friendly staff is what got our heart.
We will be returning as soon as we get a chance and we will be definetly recomending to friends.
