Stopped here for tea and kuchen and loved it. We had two different desserts. I had the walnut torte which was divine. It was light, airy and very tasty. The walnut flavoring came through but was not over powering. The plum cake was also full of flavor but a denser dessert. Definitely worth a stop!

Pancakes with ice and cream! Real yummy. A nice morning or afternoon "refill" when walking the streets of Bacharach. Nice terrace in the alley behind the cafe.

My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful orange cake here which was nice and light. The hot chocolate was also very good. This cafe has a large selection of cakes and they all look very yummy.

After settling in to our B&B, we needed a light refreshment before hiking around the town so we stopped in at this cafe. A hot cup of tea and cake served the purpose nicely on this unseasonably cold afternoon and gave us the needed boost to climb to the top of Burg Stahleck!

We chose this restaurant after a Rhine River cruise for a light snack. They were busy but did have some open tables and were seated right away.
A nice lady who spoke English helped with our all German menu. I had apple strudel with tea and my wife had a ham & cheese in a panini. Both were good although the bottom crust of the strudel was a little tough to cut. It was good otherwise.
Price was reasonable and surroundings very nice.
But.......maybe it's a Bacharach thing but people bring their dogs into this restaurant and is a definite health turn of for us.
