Our family decided to surprise our Birthday Girl (turned 10) with a visit to Legoland. Starting at the ticket counter and all thru the day at every ride or food stand she was made to feel special with handshakes, congratulations, being able to stay on some rides twice in a row and at one ride everyone in line sang "Happy Birthday". The staff at Legoland could not have been nicer. The park is beautiful and very clean. The cities build with Legos were amazing, also liked the little signs with different facts. Lots of rides for all ages and lots of opportunity to sit and rest for those that don't want to ride or just want to watch. There are plenty of food stands and clean restrooms all thru the park. In the park are also some carnival kind of stands (throw ring over bottleneck ect.) which we found extremely expensive, considering the entrance fee already paid. Our entire family young and not so young had a great day.

We were in Legoland Germany 2 years ago and it is nice to see it is growing up....new attraction "Egypt" is very good - shooting from small cars is even funny for adults...more space to stay over night, good restaurants, fair price with tickets to park, parking and acom. together...big fun for children between 6 -10 years....better to come on working days, wil be quiet...big store to spent money for toys, t-shirts etc....

i was probably more excited than my son in getting there. it s very nice. however the attractions are a bit far away from the lego concept. they are the usual attractions. very nice is the park where some cities and star wars locations are rebuilt. the bad thing is that if you are a lego costumer you can use your privileges as lego park is not lego group anymore.

Our first trip to Legoland. We booked a package with accommodation and two day park tickets earlier in the year and got a good deal. The park itself is not as big as say .... Disneyland... but it has attractions for all age groups. The first day of the visit was a weekday and if you can arrange it so, this is better as there are not as many people and the attractive rides have only 5-10 min waiting lines. The lego city models are awesome. In reality, one day would be enough to see the park especially if its not so crowded as was the situation with us. We were with our 12 year old son and after a while we ran out of "exiting" adrenaline rides to go on. This is also because we don't speak the language and can't participate in all the workshops and the activities that were going on. So the two days were a casual visit without having the situations of running from one ride to another to see everything.

We are just back from two days in Legoland Germany with our four children aged from 2 to 9. They cried when leaving and I think that's a pretty good endorsement! It's so clean and well run. We have recently been to Disneyland Paris and while definitely not on the same scale it was really great. The walk from the Legoland hotels is no more than 5 minutes and is v nice through a forest. If your children are above 100cm they will be able to go on most rides either alone or with an adult. My youngest couldn't go on that many rides as she is less than 90cm but there are plenty of playgrounds for little ones. You can rent a buggy for the kids but I'd advise bringing your own as they look v uncomfortable. It's definitely possible to do in two days. If the weather is warm bring a change of clothes for the kids as there are plenty of places to get wet. The staff were all extremely nice and multilingual. All in all we were v impressed. We will be back!
