La Font Vella is situated immediately below the Church Square in the Pyrenean village of Molitg-Les-Bains. The house is on three floors and there are magnificent views from the roof terrace at the rear, taking in Mount Canigou in the distance.
The property is clean, but a little ramshackle in places and visitors of more than average height should be wary of low beams on the ground floor and climbing the stairs. I am 6' tall exactly and had to stoop to avoid the ceiling boards in parts of the kitchen and ground floor bath. If this is what is meant by "querky", then - yes - it is querky.
The only natural light or source of fresh air on the ground floor, which houses the kitchen and one bedroom, is from windows that open onto the narrow street. The first floor windows that open also front the street, so in hot weather, when the windows are open, you are likely to smell exhaust fumes when vehicles pass, and sometimes stop outside.
