recently we decided to have a short break in the Rennes area and found this little gem on the web - it is as others have reported quiet and clean with very cheerful and helpful staff - rooms are a little on the small side but well equipped and perfect for a short stay - one thing worth noting is its proximity to the Cesson Palais des Sports - handball enthusiasts come here from all over France and if an overnight stay is needed ( most matches don't finish until well after 22.00 ) this is the place!

Using the instructions from the B+B website and paper maps, it was difficult to find the hotel. Maybe I'll have to get a satnav device.
However having arrived we had a good and quiet stay with no traffic noise. The room was clean and comfortable if quite small. The manager was very helpful (and spoke English better than I do French) and gave us good directions to the local hypermarket and restaurants.
B+B are basic hotels, usually located on the edge of towns or cities, but good value for money and this one was typical.
The 5.90€ breakfast is good value.

We stayed in this Villages for two nights. It was clean, quiet and small ( as they are- about 8.5 ft x 13 ft) but only cost about 33 euros ( for 3 people) with facilities en suite. A simple breakfast of baguette, self-boiled egg and coffee/juice was available for an additional 4.20 euro. Wifi is available (through Orange) at an extra charge. All you need to rest your head. This one is located within walking distance of a Carrefour hypermarche and other commercial stuff..
