Visit to the Beaches, war graves and museums. Well appointed and very stylish rooms with superb bathrooms. Mini bar, safe, tea and coffee in the room. Hosts extremely friendly. Breakfast? The Normandy cheeses served heavenly. walking distance of the town centre beaches and excellent museum.

Room Tip: All rooms excellent

Madame Sylvia and her husband run an excellent small hotel. They are friendly, helpful and have high standards in their hotel. The welcome is warm, nothing is too much trouble and I really enjoyed the stay at this venue. I would advise people considering a stay in Arromanches les Bain's to book early it is a real gem.

This is a great little hotel. Simple and functional and well placed in the town. We had a 2 bed family room with a nice shower room. Decent space in all rooms. Free wifi.

Breakfast is Continental with plenty of choice. Lots of different breads, incl 1 GF item and really nice cheese and ham. Lots of fruit, nuts and yogurt. Great coffee.

Arromanches is a lovely town and plenty of places to eat out.

Upon arriving at the hotel I thought it looked like a $40 a night motel that you might see on a highway. Initial reaction was not good.

Having said that, upon seeing the rooms the rooms were much nicer than first impressions would have suggested. Very well appointed. Decent size beds.
The staff were nice and helpful.

It is in a great location, walking distance into the town.

I would definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again.

Breakfast was very good. (Except one morning when they ran out of baguette, which meant the attendant had to pop out to the bakery, which unfortunately coincided with running out of coffee, which meant a wait for both, but, with only a dozen or so rooms I don't expect huge numbers of staff).

No aircon. But the area was quiet enough that it was OK to leave the window open at night without a distrubed sleep.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms can see over the buildings down to the water.

Well placed for visiting the D-Day Beaches and close to the town centre. Room was comfortable and clean. Car park very small and not enough space to maneuver easily into the marked spaces. Certainly not worth paying for...especially as there is a free car park just across the road!
