We had a great stay at Klong Kloi. The family rooms are big and clean. We got an upgrade to rhe deluxe room after a problem at the other family room and this was absolutely great. Nice accomodation at 10 meters distance of the sea. Food was the best you could find at this beach (although the neighbours of the bamboo restaurant are really nice as well!)
Beach is nice, possibility to rent kayak and go snorkelling with a boat from the Bangbao Pier. Bangbao is at the quiet part of the island, cost for songthaew taxi is quite expensive, especially of you want to visit other places on the island. As a family we rented a car for one day (1200 baht) which was great to visit the waterfalls and other beaches! Staff at Klongkloi were very friendly and always helpful to help us out. Would recommend this place to people who enjoy calm and peace!

Have been two times here. Both times food was really good, they also offer some nice fruit shakes. Service could be a little bit better. Long wait times, forgotten orders and we were sitting 40 minutes in front of our empty plates. But overall ok

This place is tucked up the beach away from the main road.
The staff here are so warm and friendly. Nothing was to much.
Amazing water pressure and pretty good bed.
As it was low season I was able to negotiate with the price.
Great beach with chairs and plenty of shade from the trees.

Big tip...when swimming at high tide remember to enter the water to the left of the resort as there are a whole lot of rocks.

Klong kloi cottage is the ideal place to be, it was difficult to leave! The way I Imagined Thailand would be.
We stayed in beach front room with 2 small children. Small but cosy.
Nice lush green garden and beautiful beach with tree shadows up to the water and swings and hammock.
We felt very much at home between the friendly staff and owner. They took good care of us. The place is a small family/friends business, you feel the difference comparing to staying in a big resort. Within few days we felt almost locals ;-)
Great restaurant, we did not go anywhere else, just kept ordering one thing after another till we tasted the whole menu...Fresh fish form the local fishermen.
Children had a good time, found friends. The beach is ideal for small children - enough shadow, swings, hammock. Sea is shallow so they can walk themselves and play.
Klong kloi beach is not developed yet as commercially as the other beaches on west coast, and this is exactly what we were looking for - a glimpse of Thailand as paradise!

Room Tip: Beach front rooms are small but cosy, in nice garden, with sea views and sound of the sea.
