We have stayed the night and had dinner here. Nice meal. But few meat on the Tangine for us five. Very nice atmosphere.

The restaurant Chez talout is one of the best in Morocco. Authentic morrocan food, a delicious tangine and rice salad, served in a very nice and decorated place. We loved each moment.
We were on a trip to Skoura and searched for a place for lunch. In a Travel Guide we found a recommendation of Chez Talout. It is actually a guesthouse rather than a restaurant. It was sharp lunch time when we arrived and we were the only guests. Even though they informed us that it will take some time to prepare some food it took them a hefty 2.5 (!!) hours to bring something to our table. If there had not been the nice view we would have walked away. The food that arrived was ok, but it cannot be explained why it took them so much time to cook this (my wife said that she would be able to prepare the same in max. 40 minutes even when unexpected guests came).
After visiting the old manuscripts Museum close by we drove to Chez Talout for lunch. We sat in a room on the terrace with a panoramic view of the surrounding Oasis with its palm trees - in the distance the snow-capped mountains.
Lunch was first a very tasty selection of mixed salads followed by a saffron chicken.
Stayed here so had a great meal. Service is good as well. Nice kitchen and excellent breakfast service.
The whole team of chez Talout joins me to thanking you for this nice comment. We are delighted to have been able to satisfy you and hope to have the chance to welcome you again in skoura.
