We were in Harrisonburg as part of a two week motorcycle trip through the Appalachians and over to the east my coast. We had already stayed at a few chain hotels at around $100/night. At around $30 less per night this was a notch above every where else. We don't recommend the on site restaurant though.

We thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay with us and glad that you found our motel to be such a value. We hope that next time you visit with us, you'll try our restaurant. Monday through Saturday, we offer our full country buffet breakfast as well as giving our guests the option of ordering from the menu. Each night of the week, our guests can order from the menu or choose the nightly special. On weekend evenings, you can choose our buffet which offers chicken, pork, beef, and seafood dishes. Now, during the "R" months, our weekend buffet features fresh fried oysters.....a favorite for so many. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit.

This is a really great little motel style establishment. It is family owned and run. There is a basketball hoop, the corn hole game, an outdoor swimming pool, a picnic table and an outdoor grill available for your use - there is also a hot tub. The rooms were big and comfortable and seem to be very well appointed. It is very country style. The only downside for this establishment is that they charge extra per guest it is not a double occupancy. Also the only discounts offered are for triple AAA. Will definitely stay there again. In addition they have a restaurant on site but there is a charge for all meals. One morning my family ate there for breakfast and the breakfast buffet for three people was $31. We did not eat any other meal there although the food was well prepared tasted good and again very country style.

Great place to stay if you are visiting The Shenandoah Valley! we had a Big spacious room with a deck for a very reasonable price . Very nice and well maintained pool & hot tub area, too! Having the restaurant on site was great for a good breakfast before heading out each day. I would definitely stay here again , if I'm in the area!

Room Tip: I like the rooms with the deck on the back, great place for early morning coffee, or an evening glass of wine.

We stayed here two nights while taking a vacation through Virginia. The Village Inn was a highlight of a great vacation. Three generations of family ownership have set a very high standard for Southern hospitality. Our registration experience was friendly and cordial; the room was spacious, comfortable, lovely, and impeccably clean. The entire facility is beautifully maintained, pet friendly, and with family-friendly amenities including miniature golf and a swimming pool. An attractive dining room offers good "home cooked" fare in both buffet and menu formats. The wait staff was friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. We we're very pleased with this exceptional inn. A great dollar value and wonderful hospitality.

The Village Inn was founded in 1936. Throughout the years, we have continually refurbished and renovated the property so that we can continue to give our guests all of thee comforts of home. As third generation owner/managers, we take a very personal interest in our business and the services that we are able to offer our guests. We are very fortunate to have a hard-working, caring staff who take great pride in their work. We look forward to seeing you again when you return to the Shenandoah Valley.
