We had stopped here four years previously while passing through on our way from vacation. We decided to stay in Front Royal for the first night of this year's vacation. Since the motel had a very limited breakfast, we came here. We were not disappointed! We had egg breakfast sandwiches and coffees, and everything was excellent! It's great to find small places like this around.

Since they're mainly a coffee place, then I'd go here again and again. The draws are smooth, and the espresso is well balanced with the mixes. The ice cream is Hershey's, so nothing remarkable, and the pastries, while good, are not the reason to go. It always feels open and the ambience is welcoming.

Three of us stopped in just before noon. Ordered two sandwiches and a bagel. Sandwiches were OK. Too bad I didn't try my bagel until we were 10 minutes down the road. Bagel was so hard and stale, it should have been discarded yesterday. Oy.

We stopped at this place on Main Street Front Royal on our way to the Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive. The coffee was good and there was a great range of accompaniments to order. All in all a great place for a stop after driving up and down Skyline Drive.

We had the soup and 1/2 sandwich -- which were good -- but added to the drinks the bill came to over $20. Since the portions were only average size we felt that other restaurants provided more value for similar or better fare. We liked it but won't be back.
