We returned to The Inn at Suger Hollow Farm last weekend for the third time. Dick and Hayden continue to be the best hosts we have ever had at a B&B. They are friendly and will do anything they can to make your stay a great one. The setting is beautiful and the 7 inches of snow that fell on the property and the mountains all around was gorgeous. Our hosts even prepared chili, cornbread and cookies at the last minute free of charge so no one would have to drive out in the snow. The meal was wonderful as usual, a huge wood burning fire was in the family room and the conversation filled the air as we all ate, drank and laughed. The return to our room with our own woodburning fireplace allowed us to enjoy each other and the romance of this special place. We can't wait to return in the fall when the leaves are changing.

My husband and I discovered a new world amidst history, mountains and meadows and very welcoming Hosts (and Hostess!) at the Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm. Comfort, thoughtfulness, and conversation, along with a fine breakfast at the start of the day; and welcoming terrain for hiking and photography.

The Shenandoah Suite was our very own spa and living area and we didn't want to watch TV or hear the news....because being there was enough. A well managed establishment!

We made it back to this quiet, beautiful B and B after having been there six years ago. We will be coming back! Dick and Hayden really make you feel like you are at your home away from home. Our Country Manor room was gorgeous and the breakfast in the morning was the best I have had in a very long time. We enjoyed the winery tours and hiking around the park near the property. I absolutely can not wait until we can escape away again to the Inn at Sugar Hollow.

My Wife and I went the last weekend in Jan, for my Wife's 50th Birthday to Sugar Hollow Farm. We arrived after dark Friday evening and were warmly greeted by Dick and Hayden, who gave us the grand tour and got us settled in our room in the "Farm House". We immediately knew that we had come to the right place. We had a romantic evening by ourselves that night with champaign and cheese and had a wonderful nights sleep. The room is bright and cheerful, tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. We awoke saturday to an exqusite breakfast prepared by Bit and were greatly immpressed by the quality and creativity he put into the food. We went to Monticello and had a great time doing the tour and walking the grounds. That evening we went into Charlottesville and ate at Shebeens, having one of the best meals we have ever had. Sunday morning we awoke to another of Bit's wonderful breakfasts and had a great time talking to the other guests, Dick and Hayden. After we checked out we went 2 miles down the road and hiked the Moorman River trail in the Shenandoah National park and really enjoyed the rest of the day. I can highly recommend Sugar Hollow Farm to anyone wanting to have a great gettaway in a beautiful setting, run by the most gracious Hosts with the best accomodations. We will be going back!

My husband and I took a break from work, busy schedules, and general hustle and bustle and stole away to the Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm. We received a warm welcome and a cozy room with fireplace. We tramped about the grounds and also enjoyed a hike up the mountain. The breakfast was exceptional and cooked to order. Even though there was WIfI available, we weren't even tempted to connect back to the busyness.
We will definitely be returning!

Room Tip: Wildflower Room and Colonial Rooms have astounding views; Wildflower Room and Hunt Country rooms have wood-burning fireplaces; others are gas.
