wife and I stayed here so we could go photograph eagles on the James river. The hotel is under renovations. room was clean but in need up upgrade. As others comments. Bathroom door close to toilet. bath light had a mind of its own if it decided to work. Staff offers to move us but we said no as we only had two more days and didn't want to pack up. THe work desk was right next to the AC unit. it would freeze you out. TV was Low and would of liked it higher up to watch. We would stay there again in future

Staff very friendly, informed us of remolding. It needs it very much. The king rooms were full, and ask if we would go to a suite for a smaller fee. We agreed, and was very disappointed how bad the room was of very old fashion. It was clean, but needs repair all over. I hope the remolding is complete before we go back; they should have not waited so long. If not we will probably go elseware.

Room Tip: we always try to get a second floor, less traffic

One of the more affordable choices for the area. Friendly staff, good sized room, clean and comfortable. A few minor items, like refrigerator and tv plugged into receptacle, so wall lights left unplugged, (instead of adding a multiplug or power strip). Renovations currently in progress, so ratings may be higher soon. Mexican restaurant across the parking lot was decent and very convenient. Breakfast was also nice and convenient. All in all a decent stay for a night or two.

Thank you for taking time to complete our survey, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. Yes! outlets are part of the renovations, this will remove the need to have items unplugged in our rooms. We thank you again and are looking forward to seeing you in the future. Sincerely, Nisha Simon, General Manager.

We were heading home and stopped for the night. Have stayed at Comfort Inns many times and have always been satisfied with the chain. The front desk staff was compentent. The room was dirty. There were airconditioner filters on the floor and when I turned the unit on, dirt flew up in my face. I'm not sure the sheets were fresh, was hair in the tub, the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. Box of tissures in bath was empty. Were in the process of remodeling, but doesn't account for this. The pool was closed.

Hotel says they're in the process of remodeling, which I will say is needed. It does not stand up to the Comfort Inn styles that I have used previously. Our room decor was tired with little holes letting light through in the curtain. Beds are older. Breakfast was a nice add on. It worked for a few hours sleep.
