As soon as you are seated ask about the food and drink specials for the day. There are two friendly and efficient servers, and both are named “Emily.” The menu is varied, and I love the fried shrimp whenever it is available. Good marks too for the chicken sandwich called “The Birdie.” And Hogans has by far the BEST BURGER AND BEST CRISPY FRIES in the entire Valley. The grilled cheese sandwich is truly special in its own right. They have a great local beer selection and the wines by the glass have been exceptionally well chosen. Wines and beers are top quality choices and great values. My fave by-the-glass is the Pino Noir. Gluten aware and vegan friendly they try to be attentive to the needs of each customer. Both indoor and outdoor areas are pleasant, with scenic views, and they are clean and bright. Before you leave, visit the next door pro shop for some attractive golf and tennis clothing. Good parking and an all-around good lunch experience.

Pleasantly surprised at Hogan's. Many golf courses are challenged to provide golfers with decent fare after a round but Hogans is top notch. Had salad with beef that was very tender and flavorful and the chicken salad sandwich (the birdie) was top notch. Sugarbush is a great course and you can get a great lunch after your round.

Great place even if you aren't a golfer. Go here for a get-a-way lunch.
Wouldn't say charming but yes comfortable, basic tables, in a greenhouse, friendly as you want it to be.
Up the access road and take Golf Course Rd but go slow for the turns, houses & cars stopping to watch the tee shots on the par 3 16th.

Had great salads, the Hogan steak salad and the Summer greens.
Had yummy grilled cheese with tomato & bacon. (Hope plastic baskets don't bother you.)

Attentive service; patrons were inside & on the porch.
Overlooks the practice area & green, and 10th tee.
Pick a sunny day with white Mtn clouds.
See photos, added some as none where here to visualize.

Hogan's is best visited after a round of golf with great views of the mountain and the course itself. Food is good and reasonably priced. Service is very good and often fun. Emily is an icon

Worst rib eye cut I have ever experienced and this was supposed to be their specialty. They had none of Vermont's finest beers either. Place has potential with its beautiful views. Very disappointing.
