“Beautiful little town”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 October 2010

My husband and I visited Stowe in Oct 2010. It was a gorgeous little town with beautiful foliage. We stayed for 2 nights but definitely could of done it with only being there one night. There is NO nightlife there....so prepare to entertain yourself at night. All the little shops and galleries close at 6pm.

There are so many trails and waterfalls to go off and explore. I am not a hiker but they were easy enough to get around to. Loved Moss Glenn Falls. It was really nice!

We did a lot of driving and leaf peeping. We explored roads up in the mountain off the "beaten path" and saw some great scenery. Go to "Emily's Bridge" at night. Very spooky and haunted!

Go up to the Trapp Family Lodge. There are horse rides and it was just amazing to walk around the grounds. HUGE!!!

“Cliff House Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 September 2010

Review- August 2010
We recently had dinner at the Cliff House Restaurant at Stowe Mountain Resort. It was what they call their Summit series dinner, which, on this occassion was a wine dinner. The food was outstanding, the service good, the views unparrelled and overall experience a 9 out of 10. If you have not tried this gem, you are missing out on an unbelieveable experience, worth the price (which I thought may have been steep before we got there, only to be suprised by its value).
We would reccommend everyone to experience this great Restaurant.

“Stowe Vermont a great little town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2010

We recently stopped at Stowe Vermont for an afternoon to shop and eat and it was a wonderful experience. With the mountains in the background this small New England town was beautiful and so clean. We were able to buy fresh local food. The town was busy as the 4th of July weekend activities were found everywhere in the town with an old fashion parade as the highlight. I would highly recommend this beautiful town as a stop on a trip through the mountains of Vermont especially lovely to view without ugly billboards which are not allowed in the state of Vermont.
There was music, activities for families and much more in this little town not to be missed if driving through Vermont.

“Wonderful Stowe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 January 2010

We always go away for the Christmas holidays and this year we decided to go to New England. We decided on Stowe for the festive few days and was not disapointed, If you are looking for a very pretty place all festive and lots of snow then look no further than Stowe Vermont. With its lovely walks and big choice of reasturants you wont be disaointed. We are non skiers but we still had fun. it is a lovely romantic winter wonderland.

“Lovely New England town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 October 2009

I love Stowe! If you are a skier the skiing is excellent. If you are a hiker the hiking is great. If you love to eat or shop this is the place. The area restaurants are varied in price and cuisine-------you can please anyone. The shops are also varied from upscale to general store type. There are also many snow sports shops with deals all season. Accommodations are readily available.
The people are warm and genuine.
