Cool vibe, great classic rock music, great fresh burger, quality over quantity. Try the honey roasted carrots! no reservations, but "put my name in" app works well.

Food is always great. Service is always great. A fun atmosphere. Comfortable seating. Tonight had tacos. Excellent ! Son had steak sandwich special. Also amazing. All staff concerned about their customers.

We got this tip from a wonderful young man, at the Tourist office. The chef owns another restaurant in nearby Waterbury, more upscale, according to reviews. The food was very good, ambience perfect for families, solo travellers, young folks. Great music, not too loud, fun and friendly. I highly recommend this place

We stopped by Doc Pond's for lunch during a three day trip to Stowe and really enjoyed the beer, food and atmosphere. There were a ton of beers on tap (Fiddlehead is a fantastic IPA) and while the food was basic pub fare it was good enough and reasonably priced. While nothing really stood out as far as eats went the decor, music, slew of old vinyl records and story of Doc Pond made it a worthwhile visit (Doc Pond was a expert witness at a trial involving a beer keg).

I'm a newly minted vegetarian and was looking for a light dinner late on a Sunday night. Doc Ponds came through for me. I started with Hummus and Pita chips. The Hummus had suffickient garlic and the chips were seasoned with a not to spicy dry rub. They were so good I almost ordered an extra plate of them. But, I finished the meal with the Sweet Potato and Black, Bean Tacos. They were served on soft double shells to prevent the dreaded taco spill I usually experience. Again, they did not disapoint, beans and sweet potatos were not over cooked and the addition of avocado and pepitas hit the spot with a daub of fresh cheese. All this washed down with a local brewed draft beer. A great meal and I will be back during ski season..
