We stayed at a nearby hotel and read their book of menus. Sunset was our choice.
We arrived on a busy evening, stood at the "please wait to be seated" sign and waited. A long time. Someone came and said tables were about to open up, and shortly we saw that this was true: a few tables did open up. We were able to flag someone down and ask if we could sit, but were told "the kitchen is really busy now and you'll have to wait either way". I said we'd prefer to wait while sitting. After some argument (why?), we were seated.
They have nightly dinner specials. We went on a Thursday, which meant that the special was a half pound burger with 2 toppings, fries, lettuce, tomato, pickle for $6. Tough to beat, so we ordered it and it was above average. We also got the Three-Item barbecue combo with beef ribs, pork ribs and brisket. Also very good, and not very expensive.
Good beer selection.
