Description: Contemporary and classic, entirely reimagined. A modern lobby bar and restaurant, where definitive fare has a decidedly Vermont twist. A comfortable, casual space that brings the outdoors in, and the indoors out. The Roost is a place to meet up and hang out. Where you can grab a seat, a bite, and a game at our Shuffleboard Dining Bar, or gather in our patio living room - under a pergola, near a fire pit, bocce court, and a reflecting pool. Or, lounge on oversized couches while you sample one of our Chef's nibbles, the perfect plates to go with a craft draft beer or creative cocktail. Food served until 10:00 PM.

Fun outing, beautiful resort. Great options for pub fare. Great food & service. Fun for kids with shuffleboard. Finished off dinner sitting at the kitchen bar in their upscale restaurant, Flannel. Again, fantastic food & dinner.

Very pleasant place to hang out, food okay but not great. Looks out on patios with fire pits and bocce court and grand vistas of mountain!

I'm staying at the Top Notch and am a huge fan of breakfast. At the end of the main building is a great spot with big windows looking out at Stowe Resort. The guy who serves us everyday is Doug. He's smiling, thorough, and attentive. Had the steel cut oats one day (good) with berries and maple syrup. Then I tried the bacon tomato omelet the 2nd day. Good omelet, good home fries and English muffin.

Good enough to come here again when NOT staying at the hotel :)

We were in Stowe for almost a week, so we ate at many different restaurants. The Roost was by far the best place we ate. The falafel was AMAZING!! Nice vegetarian options !All delicious.

The Topnotch is marketed as a spa retreat, but The Roost is the only dining option for mid-day, and lower-fat and lower-sugar choices are not available. I thought I was doing well by ordering the tandoori chicken, but it came on a bun with fries. It was also dried out. Disappointing.
