This higher elevation area offered an ample base to try out my new snowshoes at the end of January. The sunny midweek day offered nicely groomed trails (without very deep tracks on this day) which can be shared with snowshoeing. My partner and I enjoyed the easy double loop trail which we completed in 1.5 hours. The warming hut doubles for yoga classes while the changing room is rustic. Bathroom consists of two outhouses which are sometimes heated but not on this day, although the day wasn't that cold. We were happy with the $15 trail fees.

We visited Wild Wings for our first time. The trails through the woods are beautiful. The ski trails were in very good condition, although they could have been groomed a bit better. We understand they had grooming equipment malfunction. But, what can we say, the snow was perfect. They say that the bathroom facility (outhouse) is environmentally friendly, but it is not hygiene friendly. The ski center also does not generally have food available (soup only). Go for the skiing only.

Wild Wings for cross country skiing was great! Groomed trails into the woods was serene, beautiful, and a great workout! My first time cross country skiing and I'm hooked...would definitely recommend Wild Wings.

I've been skiing @ Wild Wings for many years. They have snow when others don't. It is a beautiful place and GREAT people who own it. I started doing yoga with Tracy a few years ago, she is the BEST. She always changes it up so you never know what to expect, but she knows how to read her class and adjusts the practice to who is there. LOVE IT !!!

We stayed in Weston fiirst week of February 2013 intending to do some cross country skiing but hardly any snow after big rains the week before. We checked the ski reports, and Wild Wings claimed to be open, so we went. What a neat place. They had just enough snow to allow for a good workout. They have good rental equipment, an out door potty, a warming shed, and later in the day a bunch of kids from a local school learning to ski. The people working there were very service oriented and made our visit very pleasant. There is no comparison between your experience here wit the husle and bustle of the big modern ski areas.
