If your looking for a laid back ski in ski out in the area this is it. If your wanting posh rooms and 5 star dining look elsewhere. The staff is helpful and friendly. The food is good and they have a small bar with a pool table. Yes this hotel is older and dated. The rooms we stayed in did not have a mini fridge (could live without) or a clock (which is a good thing). However what it does have are clean comfortable rooms and a laid back/ relaxed atmosphere. You can get to know the other guests and you can walk right over to Bromley. If your going to this area of Vermont to ski I would recommend this as a base and move around to the other ski areas if time allows. This hotel does have a pool and "gym". We did not need to use these amenities because we came to eat, sleep and ski. If you have kids you don't have to worry about them running off, video games and common area in the lobby. Some of the other reviews are a little harsh and snobbish in my opinion. Remember this hotel is much older than some of the more up to date high end resorts in the area. It is owner operated and they are nice and helpful people. So if your looking for a nice little ski trip to Bromley, give Bromley...More
