For 8 years now we have been visiting this gem in Vermont. The 5 star treatment in regards to the rooms, the service and the cleanliness are only surpassed by the hospitality of the hosts, Gisela and Werner. There is by far no other place that can be compared to the Haven Guest House. We have always loved it there and always will. Thank you once again for everything.
Free tip from us: check out the garden and pond - AMAZING!

Room tip: All rooms offer the same quality, which is top notch

I was visiting my brother who lives in the area. This is a very small town with limited choices in accommodations, but my parents had stayed here in the past and raved about it. Gisela and Werner run a tight ship full of excellent sweet details, top notch customer service, and above average cleanliness. I stayed in the Apple Blossom room with the king size bed. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. The front porch is so nice to sit on while having coffee or enjoying the fresh air.

The only downside to this B&B is the location, though it would not stop me from staying there. It sits on one corner of a four way stop, so you are subjected to cars and (mostly) trucks constantly stopping and starting their 4x4 vehicles, but this is a very small detail, and certainly nothing the owners can change. I also did not spend a lot of time in the room, but if I had, this would've been irritating. I was in Rm. #3. I think Rm, #4 is more to the back of the property which I think would afford the most quiet away from the street, and also the best view of the incredible garden out back. Beautiful!

The breakfast if AMAZING. The owners aim to please and go out of their way to make you happy. This is one of the best B&B experiences that I have had and I say that sincerely. Thank you Gisela and Werner, for a wonderful stay! xo

My friend and I stayed at Haven over the weekend and had a lovely experience. Werner and Gisela treated us with old world charm and a fabulous breakfast. We could have stayed on their wrap-around porch with our books forever! Gisela's awesome fish pond complete with gorgeous flowers and a tinkling waterfall was enchanting. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

We spent one night at the Haven Guest House, but would have loved to stay longer. Our stay came at the end of a stressful experience of moving out of our home of 31 years. Gisela’s and Werner’s home was so calm and soothing. They provided a very warm welcome, a beautifully decorated and super clean home, extremely comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast with home-baked breads the next morning. We were in the Rosewood Room, which was beautiful. They also have an amazing outdoor garden with a pond, which is lovely. All B&B’s should aspire to their standards. We can’t recommend them highly enough.
