While on a New England vacation, we stopped here as a pet-friendly option for the night. After check-in, we drove around to the room. Upon walking up, the door was open. The room was the size of a closet, and the entire parking lot was covered in ice. Yes, the winter is tough here, but other properties we visited had safe paths for walking. Room condition was horrible. Seemed clean enough, but just really bad shape. We literally checked out 10 minutes after checking in. Also, I couldn't find anywhere to walk my dog.

The staff was friendly and pleasant. The room, while showing its age was clean and comfortable. Towels were clean and soft. Water was hot and pressure was good. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

It is expensive for what is offered. The breakfast that was offered was okay. Two cereals, yogurt, waffles, orange and apple juice and coffee and milk, little muffins and bagels and toast.
The room was in need of a serious remodel, sink in a Formica top with a metal leg, bath tub area had a leak problem in the corner that was chalked, and a stained bedspread on one of the beds, thin towels and one apiece, stained luggage rack, also rusted wire shelves in refrigerator, the nightstand was chewed by possibly a dog or cat., I killed three flying knats in the bathroom. The bathroom floor needed a good scrubbing and disinfecting. The room had a residual smoke smell. Econolodge should rethink their logo on this motor lodge.

I had the worst experience ever with my recent stay at the Econo Lodge, 515 Canal St, Brattleboro, Vt. The breakfast bar was not only limited to the options but not prepared at the scheduled time, the coffee was not even ready when I came in at 6:15 A.M. . When I brought this to the attention to the manager he went BALlISTIC. He not only raised his voice but accused me of not being truthful. He was very unprofessional but was attacking in his overall attitude. When I asked for his name he refused and said "I Don't Have To Tell You That".

In serious need of razing and rebuilding. Bed was okay but there were bugs coming out of the shower drain, roaches or some type of bugs crawling in bathroom when you turned light on in middle of night. Towels were thin and scratchy. Sketchy clientele; area was okay as it was next to a shopping center. Breakfast area was tiny. We skipped breakfast and went to Tulip Cafe on Main Street.

King size bed but filled room with little room around the bed; pillows were okay.

Room Tip: Do not know if there is a good room.

Morris C,

Thank you for sharing your experience, and I apologize if you did not feel that our housekeeping met your own standards of cleanliness, though our own standards are very high and include checking up to ensure that rooms are as clean as can be. In addition, Our pest control company checked your claimed and found it to be false. I hope you will return to give us the opportunity to change your perception of our services.
