We stayed here for the night because it was the cheapest option and on the way of our road trip. Bethel has nothing to offer besides the Cockadoodle restaurant - which closes at 8.

The Nestled Inn is easy to find. The innkeepers (unfortunately we did not meet Susan in person, but her husband was there) were very friendly and welcoming.

Unfortunately, the Inn itself is rather old, not very well kept (which is already visible from the outside) and the inside is dark and reeks strongly of stale tobacco (although the whole house is clearly marked as "non-smoker") and "old house".
The room itself was mostly clean - if you don't check for details.
We tried to open the windows to let some fresh air in but unfortunately, that was not possible, at least we did not manage.

Breakfast was good: Eggs & Bacon, Coffe or Tea, Bananabread and fresh fruit, you can also have cereals...

You get what you pay for and everything was okay for the price and not a total desaster. So if you are on a budget, you might consider the Nestled Inn. However, the smell of the house is very strong and even sticked to our clothes, which is a no-go for us.
We would not return.

We stayed one night. There are not many options in Bethal. Rich tried to be helpful, but the inn overall needs some help. Nice original woodwork to the house is overshadowed by 1970s furniture and too many fake flowers.

We stayed two nights in the Gold Room and had an overall positive experience. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the temp was just right (and the quilt was cozy), but all the fake flowers were unnecessary. The breakfast was generous, well-prepared, and very tasty - especially the home fried potatoes.

However, you'd better watch your sweater on the way in. Finish nails protrude a half-inch from the screen door. The front porch is in dire need of paint, and the siding needs a thorough power-washing.

Fellow travelers in the adjoining Rose Room complained that the mattress was quite uncomfortable, and the color was SO rose as to be overwhelming. The WiFi, while free, was very weak.

Room Tip: We can vouch for the Gold Room, but until they replace the mattress, steer clear of the Rose.

I stayed at the Nestled Inn during a cross country bike tour, and I felt more welcomed by Suzie than by any other single person on this trip. The room was quaint and cozy, and I was given more than enough to eat. I was able to do laundry and store my bike in the garage as well. The best part was definitely the delicious and filling breakfast I was served in the morning. I was also lucky to have Suzie's company in the morning, because sincerely, this woman is the sweetest and warmest person that I think I have ever met. Anyone in her company will be inspired towards a more selfless life. Thank you for such a great night!

Needed accommodations near Randolph, VT for the music festival, they are very limited and most very expensive. Found this very reasonable one and was surprised with the quality of the room with full bath, very quite and a fabulous breakfast in the morning.

Room Tip: 2 rooms have private bath, 2 share.
