The manager was at the desk when we arrived. and he was very welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. There was a restaurant nearby where we enjoyed dinner.. Since it was off-season, no breakfast.

Room Tip: There was a refrigerator and microwave in our room. We stayed here for visits to Bryce National Park.

I visited this hotel in November and I have to say, I think that is the best time to visit this hotel and the surrounding area (Bryce Canyon). The hotel staff were all very nice and the hotel was very quiet. I will recommend going to the grocery store for food, however. There is only one restaurant nearby that serves food in the off season, they are open until 7pm.

Great location and staff was very helpful! They owner made some very good suggestions on the places that I needed to make sure I saw the most for the time I was there. The room was very spacious and clean.

Room Tip: Great experience

There were very few of us here during our off-season visit. The price was better than the hotels at the park gate, the room was large and very comfortable - and warm! That said, the only amenity is the free coffee in the check-in area and the next-door grocery store was a necessary aid to eating, using the microwave in the room.

The only downside, given our off-season timing, was that no local restaurants seemed to be available in Tropic. If there were any we could not find them. The owners don't seem interested in taking down the "Open" signs when they are closed. Pity. We had to drive to the park gate 7 miles away.

My family and I stayed here over Columbus Day weekend last month for 2 nights. We booked last minute and our options were severely limited but the Red Ledges Inn worked out. The rooms are small but met our needs. The room was very basic but clean which goes a long way when staying at a budget hotel. The beds were comfortable enough and the bathroom was large. The continental breakfast is very small but sufficed with some snacks we had. The eating area is the same as the lobby and gets very crowded quickly. The staff was not very helpful but seemed very busy keeping up with stocking breakfast items. The second night we stayed, a cold front blew in and the wind howled under the hotel room door and was very loud. The winds were 35 mph or greater so this could have happened anywhere that doesn’t have internal hallways. Parking is adequate and the hotel is located right off the highway. I didn’t notice any restaurants that were conveniently located but Bryce is only a 10 minute drive away and several restaurants are located there. There are closer hotels to Bryce Canyon NP but none for this price! If you are traveling on a budget and are in the area, the Red Ledges Inn is adequate for your needs.

Thank you so much for your review. I am happy to let you know that we are making a lot of improvements to the property this winter season, a new breakfast room is one of them. Please think of staying with us again if you ever get to come back and visit. We hope you had a great rest of your vacation and thanks for choosing us!
