Between the time when we originally viewed the listing for this rental and when we made the payment, the price changed. It was listed at $141. a night and ended up $216 which is more than we would have paid for it, but didn't notice the price difference on our receipt until later.
This listing says: A hot tub is available on site for guests, and also a picnic area that backs onto the scenic rail trail. There is complimentary parking. The newly renovated Silver Mountain Spa and Gym is adjacent to the property, and can be accessed for a special discounted daily fee ($12/ day per adult). It has a large leisure pool with water slide and lazy river, lap pool, gym and weights rooms, racket ball court, and spa facilities.
In fact, we were notified upon checking in that not only was the hut tub under renovation for 6 months prior but was still out of commission. We were given two free tickets to the spa next door which covered us one day of our stay. The property was misrepresented and too expensive.
The room was clean and comfortable. The pictures gave a true portrayal of the room. We would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed five nights recently. The Prospector was located near downtown, about a mile, and within 10 to 15 minutes of Canyons and Park City. We stayed in a studio on the first floor. It was well equipped with just about anything we could need in the kitchen --- small fridge/freezer, cooktop, microwave, pots, pans, etc. Full size shampoo and soaps were provided for the week. There was also a hottub (a little run down) located across the parking lot. Overall, it was a great place to stay, in a convenient location that cost a lot less than the resorts.
