The tubing area was well maintained and had multiple runs with a conveyor to take you to the top, saving you alot of work. The runs are decent size and can be fun with groups

When I was teaching in Park City, we took our students to Soldier Hollow every year to cross-country ski and to snow tube. Great fun for kids and affordable.

Went on a warmer weekend day in March with a 12pm slot, so not all of the lanes were open. At best 3 lanes were running and the wait to slide down was long. Most fun rides were tying our 4 tubes together and going down at the same time. We tired of the wait and only ended up doing 4-5 runs. It may be more fun on a day when all lanes are open, but I imagine there will be more people too.

Tip:
Sign all paperwork and liability prior to arriving in order to save time!

The time of year that I visited was the very last weekend of January. It has been an unusually warm winter for Salt Lake, so the surrounding background wasn’t super snowy when I happened to visit, but that’s okay. I still had tons of fun.
We left before our designated time was up bc we felt like it was getting a little too dangerous even though we were having the time of our lives. We’re not as young as we used to be, so the idea of going extreme speeds down the lanes that were even more slick than usual (this is where that warm winter comes in because it started looking more like sleek ice rink than snow) then slamming in to the poofy barrier/stopper, then going airborne because of the sheer force— not as fun a notion as it would have been during our childhood or teens haah. After going airborne three times and scraping up my hand, we thought it would be best if we called it a day before something like a sprain or bone break happened. The employees were realizing how uncontrollably fast people were going around the time we left too because they started putting rubber mats down to slow the tubes.
Anyway, I had a really great time and would love to bring my kids back one day!

Fun for the whole family. You can do 2 or 4 hour time slots. Two hours was good for our family. We had a blast. There is a moving sidewalk that takes you to the top where there are 6 tracks to choose from to chose from to slide down. You can go individually or connect your tubes for more fun. There is a small lodge with minimal snacks available for purchase. Arrive early as you have to fill out a waiver for your entire party. Good for any shape, size, and activity level.

Called on Monday to purchase tickets for Tuesday for guests visiting from out of town, was told system was down and to call Tuesday. Called Tuesday to purchase tickets and was told the hill was rented for private party . Would have been great to have known this when I called on Monday so plans were not made and kids didn't get their hopes up.

We live at 8 ft above sea level and this was such a great experience. Our son took us
here on a week day. There was some people but it didn't feel crowded. Loved the "magic carpet" ride to the top. Tubing is so FUN! Would love to visit again. Really liked their policy that they limit the number of visitors. Allows everyone multiple runs in your 2 hour window.

We have always loved going to Soldier Hollow as a family over the last few years and this year was no different! We weren't sure what the situation would be without much snowfall in the area this season but they still had the tubing lanes set up and business as usual! The employees are always really friendly and there is a great restaurant across from the office that has incredible food and great atmosphere. Always a good time!
