We stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin and liked it very much. The beds were comfortable, it was well equipped, and it was very clean. We had a wonderful view of the mountains. We spent a day in the area relaxing and then one day at Canyonlands Needles section and one day at Arches. We were able to use wifi in the lodge. The owners were friendly and helpful. We loved being at 7000 feet in the high mountains. It should be much cooler there in the summer than in Moab. Moab was close enough to go to for dinner, but we enjoyed cooking in the cabin.

We have been celebrating my husband's birthday at Mt. Peale Inn for many years.
The staff takes great care of us preparing food of our choice, including birthday cakes.
The rooms & cabins are always very clean & comfortable. Yes, it is not near Moab - that is part of the attraction for us. We love the beauty of Mt. Peale & the silence of the animal sanctuary. The food is always very good. We would love to have a hot tub, but that hasn't worked out for the lodge yet. I love all the cats & horses and deer that hang out on the lodge grounds.

Really weird. We stayed here about five years ago. IT was okay. It's of the beaten track but it's also difficult to locate decent restaurants as everything is pretty far away. We made most of our dinners in the cabin kitchen.

So five years later - they send an email requesting money for a horse to have surgery. Seriously? They send it with about 100 other email addresses - all viewable - so that anyone can bounce off those emails and send 100's more or sell them off or whatever.

I do not go to hotels or inns or rent cabins to have additional services available to the innkeepers. This was so weird and strange, I had to leave a review. IF you value your privacy: don't stay here, you may hear from them years later asking for money for personal needs.

Room Tip: go elsewhere unless you like to receive emails about upcoming money requests

We rented the lodge and three cabins for a family reunion. We stayed for three nights and cooked all our meals at the lodge. The kitchen was equipped with all the pots and pans and cooking utensils you need. The cabins were also well equipped and stand alone. We enjoyed our stay. It is located miles from stores or conveniences so take what you need. It is much cooler than down in Moab as it is at about 7700 feet elevation. The accommodations are rustic but comfortable. My only real complaint was since we had so many people the water system was inadequate to handle us all. It would come on and off which was not so good while showering. Also, there could have been a few more towels available or they should advise people to bring some of their own towels. The wifi did work reasonably well, no cell phone coverage. The owners live onsite.

Poor Surroundings with stacks of pallets and old vehicles all around. Limit on number of rolls of toilet paper that can be used....seriously, how cheap can you get! Arrived and doors were locked on 2 of 3 rooms in the cabin and no one was around to resolve it. No cell phone service within 30 minutes and the main house (what they call a lodge) having the only phone was a major inconvenient. If you want the backyard experience, have at it but it was a total let down!
