Chef Erik is amazing! We had a zucchini soup that took that humble veggie to unimaginable excellence. The house bread is more savory cake than peasant loaf.
A small restaurant within the Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch, very tucked away, but worth the effort to find them
Will definitely go back!

We had made reservations weeks before for dinner at 7:30 pm and a stay over for 2 days with 3 rooms. We got behind schedule coming from Vegas with a van full, so we called and said we would be late. We really were. Got there about 9 pm, figuring we were not going to get dinner since the restaurant closed at 9 pm. We went in, and discovered, what? the kitchen staff was there waiting for us! How cool is that! And dinner was fabulous, and the kitchen staff were the best even though they had to stay late.

This place is a secret that you need to explore. Off the beaten path, but definitely worth finding. Anything on the menu is delicious. I started out with the squash blossom appetizer filled with goat cheese--delicious, then...as I was waiting for my main course and they brought the child's quesadilla for the little girl that was with me and I sampled that--even that was delicious! Usually kid's meals are a bland disappointment...not here! The tortilla was handmade, the cheese incredible.

It was a very simple menu, and everything we ordered was excellent. My kids had bison burgers, I had enchilada, and my husband had appetizers. All were great, the bison was cooked perfect. The tortillas were unbelievably good. Worth going to if you don't mind going far off the beaten path.
